A nice little out of the way spot, along the Patuxtent River. Ignore the sewage treatment plant on the way in. Nice hikes, and they have some strategically placed benches. There is a boat ramp - you have to call
or scan the QR code to get the gate opened.  On foot, just walk around it.

This is a quiet beautiful spot with a great kayak/canoe launch. Add a portajohn and it would be perfect.

Nice, beautiful trail, mainly on a dirt road covered with grass. I was expecting a lot of mud, but the trail was clear even in a rainy spring. The elevation gain in the park surprised me--the road side of the trail is perhaps 50ft or more up from the river. FYI The high grass meant that when I got home I had 4 dog ticks and 1 deer tick on me, despite wearing long pants and insect repellent.

It's a wonderful clean place to go explore the great out doors. Access to Patuxent River,great place to put Kayak or boat.
