Amiable college. Anbiance at its best

Let me start by saying that I am in my fifth year here, some of which is my fault. However, WSU is also partially responsible as well. They change their program requirements really often, setting you back in your progress toward your degree. There are some really AWESOME professors, but there are also some absolute DUDS. One professor made us buy 5 books and then on the first day of class, just said "I decided not to use them anymore." Well, that's great. Are you paying all our costs to ship them back?! What pushes the school to three stars is that it has a nice student center and quite a few activities for students to get involved. That said, some of the student center staff can be a bit grouchy. I've been yelled at for swearing (YES, AT A COLLEGE!). Since I'm almost there, I've stuck it out, but if I were just starting to look for a school, I'd probably opt to spend a little more money to go somewhere better...

The classes are good but res life makes living on campus boring, bookstore is expensive and very unhelpful, and financial aid is also super unhelpful. It took them the day I was suddenly alerted that I was having my classes deleted to tell me I missed something on the paper work and they never check they're emails even though they encourage you to

I am going to state the obvious,I met one of the most inspiring persons at this school..professor Sonya was amazing! Now the least of professors that should not be allowed to teach let alone made chair of a department Aldo Guevara ,this guy is terrible and thinks students are suppose to have in-depth knowledge of his coursework before signing for the class. The school itself is good in terms of where its located, its Worcester and its a decent school to attend. Its sociology department is top notch excluding ALDO Guevara.Make sure you have a masters level work in order to do well in his class.Still dont remember anything he thought ,only remember is pseudo scientific analysis of bullshit! Its affordable but severely lacks diversity inclusion and its really had to access resources. The library needs work and there are sooo many people that work there but have no idea what exactly they do.

What was a college is now a university; one of many state schools to conform and perhaps for the better or not.
