Nice down to earth DDS but found it weird he sent me to an orthopedic surgeon just to do a root canal.....figured a Dentist could do that. Other than that, no complaints except it seems like he likes to use all your insurance till you are capped.

I have been going here since I was 19 , They hired a Indian lady who has no respect for people of color . I was trying to explain to her that my nephew never been to a dentist before she was ignoring me the whole time . I decided to change my dentist after . Never again

Billed me after saying I didn't owe anything. IN the past I always had a small co-pay, now he said no charge and then billed me the full amount without my signature on my card. Lied and said he told me I might have to pay in full. when I tried to call i was left on hold forever. The poor office staff have to lie for him and cover for him - I guess they need their jobs. I just notified everyone in my insurance group about his sneaky billing. Stay away from anyone who uses your charge card information without permission.

ASKED TWICE IF I NEEDED PRE-APPROVAL FOR MY PROCEDURE TOLD "NO". DAY OF APPOINTMENT STAFF LEAVES A MESSAGE THAT MY INSURANCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED. AFTER HAVING MY HEART ATTACK (KIDDING) I FIND OUT MY POLICY IS JUST FINE. STAFF IS A HORROR, NO RESPONSE FROM MY TEXT MSG TO DR. . OFFICE OVERBOOKED IN MY OPINION. APPARENTLY DR DOESN'T KNOW OR CARE HOW HER OFFICE IS RUN.

Today, 8/13/14 was my first time @ Wortman's DDS office at 140 Lockwood Ave in New Rochelle, room 302-3. When going to any medical office i'm expected to wait for at least 30 minutes. With that being said, my schedule appointment was at 2:30pm in was seen at 4:24pm. There were 4 people in the waiting room schedule for a one o'clock appt., 3 for a two o'clock appt. and 3 for a 2:30 appt. all for the same dentist. Finally my name was called, then waited another 10 minutes to actually see the dentist. Two hours and ten minutes waiting to be seen for only 10 minutes and them received a referral to wait in an oral surgeon office. I have an appt. in Sept., it will determine whether I will return.
