Located on the Oregon coast just a few minutes from the beach, this beautiful campground is perfect for a getaway weekend. This family owned and run campground was founded in 1959 and has flourished over the years.

Story

Our campground is open from May to the end of September. We have 20 campsites, a very clean bathhouse, laundry room and a sink for dishes. We also sell wood for $5 a box. The campground is just a few minutes outside of Cannon Beach, which is a small, beachside town with boutiques, restaurants, surfing and other specialty stores. One of Oregon's most notable landmark, Haystack Rock, is also nearby.

My wife and I were backpacking from Fort Stevens to Arch Cape and need a camping spot in Canon Beach since hotels there can be outrageous.   The family are all wonderfully nice, the place is logically set up and marked. The bathroom/shower facility is kept clean as are the laundry room/ dis washing stations.  The closeness to town is amazing considering how woodsy the setting is.  Did I mention that they were gracious to hold our drop off box for us while we hiked?  The only thing I would warn you about is not to leave food out over night. I should have known better, but I didn't think a coon could smell through an unopened Mt. House package! LOL!  He was obviously experienced based on his enormous size.(I've never seen one that big in the wild or on my farm!)  Thanks Wright family!

Easily the best way to visit Cannon Beach. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops in a beautiful campground full of trees, at a small fraction of the cost of a hotel. The family that owns the campground was extremely friendly and available anytime (they live right there), and it's clear they love the property by how well they take care of it. The bath house has two toilets and two free showers apiece, as well as a dishwashing sink and coin-operated washer/dryer. Wood bundles available for $5. Not a great spot for trailers due to small parking spots, tight turns, and dead ends. Good for tent camping. Some sites are pretty close together, so cross fingers for good neighbors. And it's right off the highway so expect some traffic noise. Book early! Sounds like they book pretty far in advance. This is definitely our go-to spot from now on for visiting Cannon Beach.

This was just one of the stops on our pacific northwest roadtrip, and we were thrilled with our stay. The campsites are a little close together, but it was a warm, friendly environment. Great for families. Showers and clean bathrooms, washroom and laundry available as well. Firewood was available on site and they DO enforce their noise rules, which is something we appreciated after staying in some other noisy campsites previously.

My wife and I stayed at this campground one night. I believe this campground is family owned and run, the staff were great! We could tell that the campground was very well kept and tidy. Clean facilities, chopping blocks provided for chopping wood, as well as laundry and dishes sink. Very peaceful. Minutes from Cannon Beach. The only thing is that even though it is sheltered, it is close to the highway, but we didn't have trouble sleeping so it wasn't that big of a deal. We reserved in advance, which i would recommend doing especially in the summer, most good coastal campsites were booked up on our july/aug trip any day of the week. Great job Wright's for Camping!

This is one of the better campgrounds I've stayed in! The place itself is beautiful will many trees. Bathrooms and showers were clean and a short walk into town. I would absolutely stay here again!
