We have been 3 times to Xalisco's and every time has been great with consistently great food and service . The menu is limited but what they do have is epic. The tacos are on point and the portions are more than fair for the price. Amazing street corn with plenty to share. The selection of drinks and margaritas is spot on with many flavors to choose from. The restaurant/bar is very clean and has a cool setting with an authentic feel. The staff is great and make sure you leave there full. The food is high quality and very authentic tasting. Last if you have a birthday in your party of folks be ready for 50 Cent to come rollin out! IYKYK!!
Short food menu, long drink menu. Perfect. The food was authentic and great, Margaritas best I’ve ever had from talented bar tender. A bit noisy, but one drink into a fabulous meal we were ready for more. Great art on walls and informal vibe. Will be back…Food: 5/5
We tried a lot of the menu and my favorite by far was the pepper and onions. They had the most flavor. Elote was the worst it definitely needed salt. Just added some mayo to the crema mix would help.Food: 3/5
My first time trying Xalisco bar for my birthday on December 8th. I had a great time. My mango margarita was good and the food we ordered was good too. Went with a party of 3. We beat the night rush. Our server Lorenzo was great!!Food: 5/5
Huge alcohol menu, small food menu, I was a little surprised at how small actually but both me and my husband found something to order. I got tacos and he got a burrito. I thought the tacos were very good, albeit small street taco size so order more if you're hungry! I got a sangria cocktail that I thought was surprisingly spicy considering the ingredient list didn't have anything spicy. They were kind enough to remake it for me. Still tasted like jalapenos so not sure what happened there but overall this place was worth the visit!
Waitress never disclosed that when you order "Elotes" times 2 you received 900 pieces of corn to share between two people. Asada not that great. Birria and cheese tamale was really good. Green sauce amazing. Red sauce mediocre. Guacamole really delicious. Drinks great. Staff amazingFood: 3/5
Food was ok, it's more of a place you would like to take someone for a 1st date. It does get a little loud but the tequila shots are way over priced especially for the quality of brands they have. I do like the atmosphere was nice, not to loud so we were able to have good conversation.Food: 4/5
Such an underrated place! The food is always always amazing and hot. It might sound different but the Poblano tamale is a must try! Cecy took care of us and she was incredibly nice and attentive, simply the best.Food: 5/5
Probably one of my favorite bars to go to in ogden! The atmosphere is always great. The drink menu is HUGE! And don't get me started on the Carne asada tacos...so amazing!Food: 5/5
The best street tacos I’ve hand in a very long time!!! Authentic and fresh!!! Spicy but not painful. I got 2 brisket and one steak taco and spent less than $10. Absolute perfection!!! The drink menu is extensive! Full bar of delicious spirits and beers. I’m picky about tacos and these are now my favorite!!!
