Story

Xcetera's Consignment Policy is as stated:
Xcetera will receive for consignment up to 15 items by appointment only.
We accept clothing by season. All items must be freshly laundered and pressed. Please look items over carefully. Items are not accepted with stains, holes, tears, signs of wear and tear on collars, cuffs and hemlines, broken sipper and missing buttons.
Xcetera sets the price based on quality, brand, and supply and demand. Furniture in good to excellent condition will be accepted with a 24 to 48 hour notice. Pictures are preferred of furniture in advance. Lamps must have shades and BULBS. Household items must be CLEAN to be accepted. It is not the responsibility of Xcetera to clean any of the items. Other items accepted for consignment; collectibles, retro/vintage clothing, jewelry, home goods and accessories.
Xcetera reserves the right to refuse any item. We will do our best to safeguard all merchandise left for consignment, however, it is understood and agreed upon that all items left for consignment are at the risk and discretion of the consignor. XCETERA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR STOLEN OR DAMAGED ITEMS.
Consigned items will be listed for 90 days and held for 90 days. If the item does not sell within the 90 days, the consignor must pick up their unsold items within 10 days or the items will be donated by Xcetera. It is the consignors’ responsibility to know this date and to retrieve their items. Xcetera will receive 50% of the sale of the item and consignors will receive the other 50%. At the end of 60 days, seasonal items will be reduced by 20%. Xcetera and the consignors have the right not to reduce any particular items after the 60 day period.
After the 100 day period, seasonal items not picked up by the consignor will be given to charity or become the property of Xcetera and discounted and sold solely for Xcetera, LLC.
Consignors are responsible for picking up checks or leaving a self-addressed stamped envelope. Items sold within the month will be credited to consignor the following month and available for pick up from the 5th of the following month on.
