We saw their delivery truck covered in photos of their yummy food and decided to follow it back to the restaurant. Best decision we ever made! The food was sooooo flavorful and authentic! My boyfriend has the fajitas and I had churassco. It was amazing. Our waitress was also so sweet and kind. I highly recommend coming to this hidden gem.
We only went to the bakery — the cubilete was delicious and bought some champurradas to take home with us. My husband is Guatemalan and said it smelled just like home.
For real! If you want authentic, this is the place. Opens at 6:30am for the campesinos #respect I ordered the Chapin breakfast, scrambled eggs, black beans, rice, plantains, side of cream and cheese, and 3 homemade tortillas. CASH TIP if you can. Oh and I got the cappuccino and told her to put the restaurant name on it for this post!!
This place is awesome. The food is delicious and the service is great. I've had a few of their dishes and they all tasted like homemade. The Paches de papa are my favorite .
This panaderia is an amazing spot for some authentic guatemalan cuisine. The tamales which are very different than Mexican tamales were varied and delicious. Also the platanos fritos which included plantains beans cotija and crema was a wonderful bite. The cost is very affordable and the staff were wonderful. I will suggest you may want to brush up on your spanglish but in case you're not the most fluent me they are more than helpful to help you figure out what you're asking for.
First time eating here. I got the pechuga a la plancha which was delicious seasoned grilled chicken breast with rice, blended beans, salad and tortillas. It was too late to take a picture, I was already half way done. The cappuccino was really good and it was a decent size.
Great service! Really good food! Outdoor seating as well as indoor. Seems very popular!
They have a small bakery & small selection of snacks & drinks & of course their restaurant. The garnachas, pollo con crema, pepian, tamales, etc is all delicious. The agua de mora blackberry/mulberry drinkthat they make is my favorite. If you don't speak Spanish & are trying to be adventurous be prepared to use something like Google translate to have your order taken. Their menu has pictures for most of the food so that should also help. Parking: The parking lot is small but then again the strip mall is tiny. Sometimes the parking lot gets pretty full but there are parallel parking spots to the left of the building Kid-friendliness: If I remember correctly there are high chairs available & enough tables available to accommodate large families.
