Really delicious Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes and Chicken Cordon Bleu. We had a shrimp appetizer that was pretty good too. But unfortunately didn’t get a picture. We also had a couple drinks and some delicious tiramisus with a bit of coffee after dinner. Outdoor seating with wind covers and some overhead heaters. Was very pleasant even on a windy night! Great wait staff who were very attentive and wonderful!
Excellent friendly staff in an open decorated restaurant. We went on a Sunday morning for breakfast. A bit dissappointed in the eggs benedict...not a recognizable hollandaise sauce. Omelet was good as well as country potatoes..just wish there were a few more potatoes for the price. I would try them again for lunch just incase breakfast isn't their speciality.
The best ribeye steak I try I tried to tell you what a week and the flavor is always the same good stuff and I also recommend the calamari appetizer is awesome
Excellent food and service. Sat inside this time, but they do have heaters outside. Always good food with good friends.Food: 5/5
Paid $17.95 for fish and chips through DoorDash for literally ONE piece of fish. This was the center of our order/reason for ordering, so we were sorely disappointed. Had I known it was only 1 piece we wouldn't have even bothered ordering. Also a bit odd that they let you select between rare thru well-done for fish. The burrata tomato crostini was nice and we appreciated that they packed it all separately so it didn't get soggy. The artichoke spinach dip was nice. Both of these were also priced quite high at $16.95 each, though. The pepperoni pizza was decent and adequately priced, as was the chocolate cake. Overall not worth the expense.
Service and food is good. The bartender is great. But the prices on the food is to pricey. Had a iceberg salad just shavings not a half with tomatoes and corn thousand island dressing add shrimp for 9$ and Chicken for 7$ . Well they just put six or so shrimp on the plate with the salad. Chicken not even a whole breast. All I am saying is the sides are way over priced it makes a salad 17- 18$ I don't think so. Love to eat local but Alamo has not figured it out.
I’ve never written a review in my life but I have to say this is my favorite restaurant!! I’ve ordered door dash from them many times!! It’s always fresh and everything I’ve had so far is to die for! The lobster ravioli is my favorite. The braised ribs was amazing! It’s hard to not order everything I love the menu selection!
This is a hard review to write because I have wanted to go here for some time now. The reviews seem to really pump this place up so it was definitely on my list, despite being wary of big-box shopping centers' restaurants. Sat outside: sitting so close to an intersection in the parking lot of a busy Safeway was anything but pleasant. It eventually died down as it grew dark, but there were yellow jackets or hornets buzzing about the tables and food, which really really added to the distracting outdoor setting. The staff: definitely works hard, the servers and bussers were feverishly in and out and between tables with little down time. The food: the calamari was under-fried, the concavity potato skins were barely even full of toppings except for the glob of sour cream on each. As famous chefs have said, food not only has to taste good, but it has to look good too. The steak salad was good: fresh produce and appeal although the meat was tough to cut, like they did not cut it against the grain when they served it upon the salad. The italian sausage pizza was ok, but not tasty enough to eat more than a piece or two and from what I see today, it is not very appetizing when you save it The cocktail menu is just ok although, they pour heavy, so order what you normally drink vs something fancy from that menu. We tried the greyhound and a martini. Greyhound was meh but the martini was good. I think I may try this place again but for a lunch menu: it is probably not the best dinner option when Danville's restaurant row is just a couple miles away. I read another reviewer's comments of this place and they used the word "reasonable" which I think is fitting, hence the three-star rating.
Reservation for 7PM. We were seated after table and chairs were sanitized. It was a beautiful evening on the patio shaded by the building. They have a well rounded menu that should appeal to most tastes. Salads, pizza, pasta and steaks. Sometimes I make a meal from the starters alone. Grilled shrimp, bruschetta and so much more. Potato Crusted Halibut and Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs are favorites. You have the option to add steak, shrimp, salmon or chicken to your salad. Full bar and decent wine list. I'm ready to go again!
cancelled last minute on thanksgiving even though my driver already arrived there and even though i placed my order well ahead of time and they are open on thanksgiving with thanksgiving specials. wasted my driver's time and cost him money on the holidays plus now leaving me in a pickle. very thoughtless.
