This is THE BEST jewelry shop in L.A.  The owner, Joe, and the resident artist, Marla, treated myself and my fiancé with the utmost respect. I brought in an engagement set that my dad gave to my mom in 1964. It has not been worn in 42 years. Joe not only separated the set, but restored it to its original amazing integrity. It was ready exactly when promised. 
Marla's jewelry is stunningly individual and remarkable. I would love to describe her pieces, but the description of her work on their web page describes it best.
Yale Jewelers will always be sentimental to us.

My brother and I went in today to buy a ring for his soon to be fiance. My brother had a strict budget and a short timeline. Joe was extremely friendly and so willing to help us. His recommendations and suggestions made our experience so easy. My brother decided on the ring almost instantly and Joe guaranteed that the ring would be ready before the big trip! 

Great customer service! Small shop with great unique pieces! What's not to love? He has made return customers out of us for sure and we'll be sending our friends here too! Thanks Joe!

Absolutely phenomenal. I visited multiple jewelers before coming to Yale in order to get a loose stone set for an engagement ring. After speaking with Joe for only a minute, I knew he was the guy. He's trust worthy, honest, friendly, and reasonably priced. While other jewelers seemed nice, they were all "yes men". Telling me what I wanted to hear and saying they could do anything I wanted. Joe was the one who told me the stuff I shouldn't do, or what he wasn't comfortable doing because it would affect the ring. This type of honesty is so rare, and greatly appreciated. My fiance works in fine jewelry and is absolutely in love with the quality and workmanship of the ring. Joe is amazing, and I'm so happy I went to Yale Jewelers.

Joe was absolutely incredible! He helped me create a custom wedding band that compliments my engagement ring perfectly. He knew exactly what to do and managed to keep it both affordable and timeless. I highly recommend!!

He helped me design an engagement ring, got it done in less than two weeks, didn't try to oversell me on  expensive stuff outside of my range, and let me pay with a credit card, all in a fair and even handed fashion.
