Story

Yanawana Camp consists of 5 full RV hookups. Walking distance to Mission San Francisco De La Espada founded in 1690, and San Juan Capistrano founded in 1731 early Spanish Colonial life along the San Antonio Riverwalk. The trail connect with all 5 Missions, including the Alamo. A total of over 30 mile round trip. Trails are on both sides of the river with amenities, public restrooms, picnic areas, water fountains, bike share stations, canoe/kayak access points, pavilions and park security.


Yanawana Camp is a family oriented park. Alcohol and drug free. Families can enjoy and connect with nature. Walk, drive or ride a bike, overlook the San Antonio river and visit the only functioning aqueduct or acequia, in the United States built in 1731 to irrigate community farmlands. All within four miles.
