My house was built in the mid-70's and I've lived there since 1988. My doors were original to the house and they were old and ugly! Why, I don't even know what they were made of and it looked like someone had painted over them with a paint brush! When I would come home and see them, well, it didn't make me feel great about my house. Since I worked with Yankee Home Improvement already, I decided to use them again after seeing their booth at the Valley Home Expo this spring. What can I say, the new doors have improved the look of the house tremendously! It makes me feel better when I look at my home and it has improved the house value as well. No more ugly doors! The doors feel sturdier and tighter than before too. What I appreciate most about Yankee Home Improvement is that they stand behind their product and their work. If there is anything that needs to be fixed, they show up on time and are right here to fix it. Very reliable.

We were approached by this business at the Connecticut home show last month. We have been looking to completely redo our entire bathroom for the past few months and we were provided some information as well as an appointment on that day. The consultant that came out to our house was Adam. He was extremely generous yet very thorough with how the entire process would work. We thought the price that he presented us with was extremely fair and it was also guaranteed for an entire year. I would also like to mention that the customer service representative is by far one of the nicest people that I have ever dealt with on the phone. I would highly recommend this company for any home project that you need done.

I bought my house two years ago and I didn't know how old the roof was. It did have moss growing on it and at the time of inspection, I was told that I would have to have it replaced sooner rather than later. After finding out about Yankee Home Improvement at the Flower and Garden Show, I gave a call and met with a product specialist. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions. When I told him, I had a lot to think about and would not be making a decision on the spot, he didn't push for a sale but let me think over my options. I gave him a call a week later to go ahead with my job and I am very satisfied with my roof! I was amazed at how quick it took, actually amazed by the whole process! This was the fastest roof job I have ever seem. Not only does the roof look great but everything was spotless afterwards! The dumpster, materials and crew all showed up on time. The work was done quickly with tarps in place around my house and the day after it was done, the dumpster was gone. I'd give a big thumb's up to Yankee Home Improvement for the quality of materials, work and professionalism I experienced.

Let me say that I am the biggest Yankee Home Improvement fan! They get the job done right and if you ask me what I was most satisfied with, I'd say everything. Workmanship, communication, the product-everything. We bought our home in 1992 and at the time it had older windows from the 1980's when it was built. As home owners, we wanted our home to be well insulated but the old windows were just not cutting it We had a breeze coming through sections of our house and knew we needed to do something about it. Not knowing who to reach out to, your name attracted me right away since I'm a big NY Yankee's fan! So, when Yankee Home Improvement came out, your product specialist was very nice and helpful. What I was really impress with is that rather than a pushy salesman, your product specialist made suggestions as to what would work best for our home, and I am very happy with the results! Just from working with Yankee Home, we learned a lot about craftsmanship and what windows would be the best for our home. We also had a major problem with our French doors that lead to our back deck. We had a local contractor from our neighborhood install them and within 2 years we were getting leaks that were causing the wood to rot below the door area and we ended up with carpenter ants! Yankee Home Improvement came out and repaired the damaged wood when they installed our sliding glass door and now it looks brand new again! I'd say that you would be crazy to not work with Yankee if you are a home owner. They are number #1 in my book and I will always use them for my home. If you want something done right, go to the people who know what they are doing. I'm sticking with Yankee Home Improvement!

I cannot attest to the work that this company does, only to the sales visit I experienced. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone that doesn’t have two and a half hours to sit and listen to a sales pitch. The visit went much longer than it needed to, and the sales tactics were unbearable. At the beginning of the visit we explained what we were looking for and that we were not going to make a decision that day, however, the rep seemed to have his own agenda and timeline without a thought to our request. When our daughter started getting whiney (about an hour and a half in) and one of us had to leave the room, it did not phase the rep and he kept going. However, he would not let us make any decisions on our own, such as the end survey (which is not really a survey) - he required that we both be available even when one was attending to our daughter. After I had said that the visit was over, he still had to make one more phone call and make one more deal offer. I appreciate the product and the "deals" dropped the price to where we needed it to be - but the sales tactics of making us listen to two hours about how great your company is, and then wheedling us with 30 more minutes of amazing "deals" and pushing us to make a decision when we had made it clear we still wanted to see what other companies would offer us, guaranteed that we do not want to give your company any of our money by hiring you. You shouldn't try to bully people into selecting your company; you should rely on your product to make it easy to choose you once reviewing all options. And the presentation should be about your product and practices - which should never take two hours to explain. If it takes you that long, then you are doing it wrong.
