When Ii was going to college at Seattle Pacific University in the 90s, we used to come here nearly every week. And now in 2024, they're still here and still delicious. Not all teriyaki is the same and these guys do it best.Food: 5/5
Best teriyaki chicken and salad I have tried in Seattle thus far. Their sauce isn't overwhelmingly sweet like most teriyaki places, and their cabbage salad is simple but also very tasty and it's vinagrette pairs nicely with the sweet sauce. The place itself does need a little sprucing up. I always do take out.
I'm giving this place a 5 because it is high value. It's not the best food on the planet but it's some of the best food you can get for only 12 dollars in seattle.Food: 5/5
tasty teriyaki, large portions, no complaints. but the service and service did not like. no regular dishes, if I'm going to eat at a restaurant, do not offer water, there is no free ordinary water, I bought Coca Cola, there is not a straw. inside is not very clean, but again I repeat that the food was nice and tasty!
I ordered chicken teriyaki. The chicken was super dry and the rice had a lot of soy sauce. The salad was only col without dressing. Also I found an eyelash in my rice. I had a bad experience I don’t recommend this restaurant.
I’ve been frequenting Yasuko’s ever since they had 3 store fronts back in the day when green lake, cap hill, and now dravus street existed. I understand that the pandemic and inflation is taking a toll on most businesses, but you don’t alienate your base by screwing them on price and portion size. I went in, ordered two xtra pork $32 bucks and tipped 20%! Extra portion size was even less then before when it was regular size portion? Wouldn’t most of you agree that inflation may raise the prices, but keep the portion sizes the same as before? You want to stay in business and keep your loyal customers, change your business standards. I may be one out of a thousand customers who know how you used to operate. Eventually customers will catch on and quit visiting your establishment. Good luck to sticking around for another decade. You may have received my business for the last time. A remorseful customer who is saddened to say goodbye.
It’s Seattle Teriyaki, and hits the spot every time. Yes, the menu is simple and the rice is saucy. The two wonderful people working there have been there forever and know what they are doing. Trust the process. I dare you to find a better classic teriyaki spot in Seattle.
I'm giving the 5 for atmosphere because I love the place and want them to succeed but it's really more of a to go place. Dirt cheap and tasty. Just the right amount of food.Food: 5/5
Me and my husband eat here frequently. The chicken breast teriyaki is great!Food: 5/5
