Not really sure how this place received a 4 out of five. We had to track down our waiter 5 times during our meal, they never cleared plates, and at the end of the night we had to walk to a he counter to ask for a check. Food was average, but the service definitely left a lot to be desired.

Very good food. Lost 2 stars due to unattentive service... Seems like Chinese people get the priority of staff attention. Never completed our order, never came by to check up on us. No tea refill...

I want to like this place because our waiter actually seems nice. However they are definitely understaffed. We had to wait 20 mins before our waiter came to our table to order and another 15 mins before we can find him to ask for the bill. The restaurant owner should really consider hiring more staff. Food is 3.5 out of 5.

Our favorite nearby dim sum place was full and we couldn't wait so we walked up the street to Yi Yuan. The waiter gave us complimentary hot and sour soup. It was actually quite tasty. My wife was suspicious of the quality of the food and the chef so we ordered a "safe" dish, Singapore noodles. The dish was generously proportioned and reasonably priced. The shrimp were fresh and well prepared. The noodles were decent but the chef used s little more oil than we would prefer. We wouldn't make a special trip to this place but if we were in the neighborhood and needed a meal it would be worth stopping in and ordering a little more adventurously

The food is pretty good, but the service sucks. They need more people or do things more effectively. The last time I got braised spicy deep fried fish was not as crispy as the first time I got it. So they have discrepancies. But it's pretty good if you ignore the staff.
