The director and staff are amazing. A safe place to inspire the imagination of children. A haven for parents to get some partially independent time. Wounderfull memorial day weekend every year.

YMCA Camp Willson is the reason I am who I am today. If I had not gone to summer camp back in 2011, I'm not if I'd like the person I was today. But in around 85 days I'll be going for my sixth summer and my first summer as a C.I.T. I could not have found a better place, with more lovely people to call my home and family. If you're debating about sending your kid to camp, send them. If you don't have the money, send them. It'll all work out and I promise your kids will come back with a life changing experience and be better because of it.

I just finished my tenth and final summer there, and I loved every second of it. Every day you're there you'll find yourself having the most fun you've had in months; they make sure to fill your schedule with things like rock climbing, swimming in their freshwater lake which was formed by a glacier, hanging at the high-ropes course, and even a zip-line! I even met my current girlfriend there. 

Most of, if not all of my fondest memories are tied to beautiful Camp Willson.

YMCA Camp Willson is an awesome place.  We have sent our daughter to several camps on her own.  We have also attended Family Camp for 3 years.  I have attended Women's Weekend for 4 years and my husband has attended Men's Camp since the 90's.  We have had NO issues with bed bugs.  We love Camp Willson and would be there every weekend if we could.  Love the staff, love the environment.

It's obvious that the place has undergone a number of improvements over the years, but I have many happy memories of coming here for a week while a student at Northwood Middle School (Sidney, Ohio) in the late 70's.  It was fairly basic back then but a lot of fun.  Great place to learn while being out of the classroom for a few days.  Was nervous about going but once there I didn't want to go back to "civilization"!!!  Was a great experience that I still think about after all these years.
