Ordered the black garlic ramen, strong broth, stiff noodles. On a Friday, before noon, with the place half full, this order took 20 minutes.  The roasted garlic chips are sitting at the bottom of the bowl, so if you don't stir, you're left wondering, where's the garlic?!?   The chashu was okay, the broth was thick and flavorful, and the egg a bit runny, but that's still better than a well done egg.  The only weakness were the noodles - they were a bit slippery, a bit thin, and spaghetti-like, but not too bad.  For less than $11 after tax, a good value.  Overall, 4.5 stars for this bowl.  The shop interior is excellent, indistinguishable from what you'd find in Japan.  I'll be back to try their other bowls.  Be forewarned, on weekdays, lines will form after noon.

Great ramen. Chicken karaage needs a lot of improvement, crispy, but flavor is lacking. Gyozas are deep friend, not steamed. Get there early or you will be waiting.

Very good ramen for not having to wait 2 hours like other popular ramen shops. Be aware 1A is Spicer than it seems, especially since it tends to be inconsistent with spices. Their noodles are pretty thick and chewy, and they use thick pork belly. I love their noodles!

I didn't go to this restaurant for about 4 months. During these visits, I've always ordered the same dish (black garlic ramen). Today, my family went to dine there and as usual, I ordered my favorite  black garlic ramen. I noticed a big change in the taste. It's not as flavorful as it used to. I even had my son taste my soup and he agreed with me. Also, the ingredients did not include egg. Instead, they added wood ear mushroom. I was really disappointed. I won't be eating there anymore.

Excellent Ramen. Some of the best broth I've had. If you're a fan of spicy Ramen (like the offering at Shoki in Sacramento), you're in for a treat. I love spice. I can handle a hefty dose of it, too. Make no mistake, the second "spice level" called "entry level" spice, is indeed spicy. It'll make you sweat and it'll clear the sinuses. Tasty though. Definitely one of the best Ramen spots I've ever been to.
