I’ve had much better sushi for much less money. Uneven slicing, rice soaked in some strong fluid, some pieces too big to put in my mouth, and off putting flavor combos. The service was also horrible. Waited 10 minutes for a beverage, was never checked on, and had 4 empty plates sitting with no effort to clear. They just brought the check and left. Needs a lot of work. There are 5 or 6 other sushi restaurants within 2-3 miles. All of which I would recommend over this place.
My wife and I ate here and ordered the seasonal drink, Kawii Collins. Perfect balance between sweetness and refreshing. Added bonus, Eric was a star and made our evening! My wife ordered the Volcano roll and I ordered the Rising Sun roll. Simply put, the best sushi I have ever tasted. That sauce that comes with it, is outrageous. Can’t wait to come back!
I'm not sure what happened but this latest experience was very blah. The Yokozuna in Tulsa has always been my go to, zero complaints there- but Okc location . We came here Friday night for our exchange students 16th birthday. We had a group of 12. We had a toddler and infant with us. When we arrived we asked for a high chair. A waitress brought one out . We flipped it over so the car seat can fit in while baby slept. This is how other restaurants have always told us to fit a car seat. The waitress then came back and told us they had a sling high chair and was super rude about it as she took said highchair away. She brought the sling over with an attitude. Thank God we didn't get stuck with her as our waitress. Our new waiter came over. He gave us time to look over menu, get our drinks and help us get settled. His service was amazing,so my review is not based on his performance. We ordered fried rice, volcano roll, crab Rangoon wonton with chili sauce, tempura fried cauliflower, salmon poke, hot mess and many other different sushi rolls. The rice was absolutely bland. It didn't even have color or fried rice flavor. The flaming volcano roll was absolutely gross. My husband and daughter ordered it and had to force themselves to eat it. I've had the volcano roll before but this sauce tasted like some nasty curry sauce. The fried cauliflower was barely coated in the sauce and the sushi rolls were super thick with rice and hard to chew. We had the waiter take back the rice because it was terrible. We should have returned the volcano rolls but my husband felt bad sending it back since our waiter was so nice. next time,if we ever go back, will definitely return it. Overall the atmosphere was ok. It was not overly crowded for a Friday night. The service itself was awesome but the food was mediocre. Personally, I will probably just go to Sushi Neko or The Sushi Bar next time .
Delicious. Perfectly cooked. Excellent service. My new favorite. Sorry Sushi Bar. Food: 5/5
Good atmosphere! We love the food we ordered so far, salmon poke, flaming volcano, salmon dinner, and sushiFood: 4/5
For those who are always a bit cold. You may bring a light sweater. Was chilly with the ac on, but understandable with okc heat. Aside from that, the food was great. First real bowl of ramen, and it didn't disappoint. Noodles held up for leftover as well. Sushi was great, too. Great service. Try it, you won't be disappointed.Food: 5/5
Amazing amazing amazing! Great atmosphere, the decor and paint and design create an amazing vibe. We were sat down immediately and attended fairly quick! Started off with two soups and nigiri and then ordered three roles. Haven’t had miso soup with shiitake mushrooms before yet it was really good! We cleaned every plate and left content! Rolls are made to order and they managed to get them out in an efficient manner! All of the flavors were fresh and individually delicious! Highly recommend coming here with your friends or on a date night, for the 2 of us it came out to a little under $100 with tip, drinks, appetizers, and the rolls. Very affordable and worth the dollar!
Food was awesome and had tones of flavor. Ordered the gyoza and steam buns with pork belly. Entree was Roll and Gift roll and Rainbow roll with Mongolian Beef. 4 stars because the pork belly was WEAK and almost non-existent and the Mongolian Beef portion was extremely small for the price. Other than that everything was great!
I ordered a glass of wine & ordered my food. A couple comes in after me & gets all their food before me. It over 30 minutes and still no food. By the time I tab out my food was coming in 60 seconds. All the sudden my food was ready to go. Im not sure what the kitchen was doing, but the bartender said that's never happened. My wine was great. I definitely needed a drink. The steamed chicken buns were great despite the kitchen dropping the ball. Maybe next time i should order sushi to ensure I get my food.
2 to 5 is the happy hour with discounts in some products. You can choose if you want to stay indoor or outdoors. The menu offers a lot of choices, we ordered three meals and all was really tasty and well served
