Everything was great until...the last refill of water. The waitress (name withdrawn, but I have her name on the receipt) served my child something not drinkable. My child immediately spitted right after first sip. When I examined it was warm and kind of starchy transparent liquid in the glass. Also, it was like a fishy smell. Foods were great - far better than Japanese wannabe restaurants. Unfortunately, a glass of water ruined everything. Be careful what you drink there.

Yona is great! I've been here for there regular menu as well as Restaurant Week. I highly recommend the Restaurant Week menu--you get 4 courses for dinner, and it lets you try a lot more. The regular menu is good as well. The ramen is delicious, though not the best I've had in the area. Their steam buns are phenomenal, and you can see the steamer from the dining area in their open kitchen. They also do a great job with creative cocktails. It can get pretty crowded, so you want a reservation.

Small and stylish Japanese restaurant. They've got plenty of drinks and cocktails that are very good. The place is fairly small, but I've never had trouble getting a table. It's also very clean and unique on the inside. Their appetizers are good, and they've got a good amount of options. The brussel sprouts in particular are fantastic. Their pork ramen has perfectly seared pork belly, but the broth is only decent, and the portions are just a tad small for the price. This is definitely a good spot to get some good cocktails and some appetizers with some ramen if you're a little hungrier.

Great location and ambiance, but thats pretty much it. No problem paying a premium for good food but.. when you pay for the same roll and costs 40% more than the ones at similar places and its half the size on top of that, then you're not getting what you paid for..

Good food. Terrible service. Ordered a $25 bottle of sake. Drank only 20 percent of the bottle when the waitress returned and said that she brought us the wrong bottle and the bottle she brought out was very expensive and we had already drank $25 worth of the expensive bottle of sake and so she had to take our bottle away. And she took it away! She said she was in trouble for what she did. She would not bring us the bottle we ordered. But she charged us $25 for a bottle of sake we didn’t get. It was a confusing and frustrating scene. Everyone’s night was ruined. I asked to speak to a manager during the meal but was told there was no manager (the manager was busy at a different restaurant- Kapnos?). I wrote a confidential email message to the restaurant about the experience and received no response, too. I have never had an experience like this at any restaurant ever. I brought many guests that night and bragged about this restaurant and was humiliated. Like I said, the food is good but Service does Matter. Not recommended.
