This restaurant was incredible and I love that we all had our own private rooms. I don’t usually like fish with bones or skin and the fish dish was amazing. Not fishy at all. I had cuttlefish and ended up eating the whole bowl of it. I’m usually pretty squeamish about stuff like that but it was phenomenal. I am sensitive to MSG and preservatives and I could eat everything that was presented to me. Can’t wait to go back! Vegetarian options: I was able to tell them I was a vegetarian and they could tell me what was made without fish sauce and it was all delicious.
it was my first time celebrated my mom's Birthday. My mom and all of my family loved theri food and service. gave us beutiful memory and we will be back again!Food: 5/5
July 2023. The food is not bad, decent traditional Korean food. Very nice dish decorating and arrangement. Private room for every group. Good place for business/date dinner and good option for catering. The only thing I didn’t like about the place was the smell, felt like restroom or sewer pipe was blocked. Somehow our room had very strong smell from the restroom and that was very disrupting.
I was excited to try out this place from all the reviews I’ve seen. I got the course menu, which was around $79 per person. I had high expectations of all the dishes considering that it was quiet pricey. However, no dishes stood out in particular and was worth the money. You do get a lot of food, which is awesome, but it’s not outstanding, so I’m not sure… I think I’d rather spend my money on some kbbq than this.
Before my visit to this restaurant, I took the time to peruse the reviews to gain a preliminary understanding of what to expect. The occasion was an invitation to celebrate my uncle's 90th birthday, and the gathering was held at this restaurant. The event brought together more than 100 attendees, and we were situated on the second floor for a buffet-style lunch. I recognized that the nature of buffet-style service might introduce some variations in terms of freshness and food temperature compared to individually served dishes. As I arranged my plate, I noticed that the quantity of food available surpassed the capacity of a single plate, which is certainly a testament to the restaurant's generous offerings. On the whole, the dining experience was satisfactory. However, I couldn't help but notice a minor setback regarding the cleanliness of the chairs. Given the restaurant's reputation, I had expected impeccable hygiene standards. Unfortunately, there were visible food stains on some of the chairs, which did raise a concern. My sister even hesitated to take her seat due to this issue. In an effort to enhance the overall experience, I would suggest a few improvements. Firstly, attention to the cleanliness of the chairs is essential, aligning with the restaurant's name and reputation. Additionally, focusing on the upkeep of the restroom facilities and introducing tasteful decorations and scents would contribute to a cleaner and fresher atmosphere throughout the establishment. These thoughtful enhancements could significantly elevate the dining experience. Parking: It costs $2.00 for valet parking
Delicious meal and nice dining experience. Restaurant has small rooms for private dining if the party is large enough. Price is a little high but overall feels justified.
Top notch Korean restaurant in Koreatown. They offer a legit Korean cuisine in many courses. We had Hyang which is 10+ dishes coming in orders. We went there with VIP guests and VIP guests were more than impressed with the quality, taste and the way the food is set out. One minus thing was server did not explain the dishes by dishes, so I had to explain the dishes and menus for myself to my guests since it was their first time trying Korean food. Other than that, we had a pleasant experience at the restaurant and the guests were happy with the food and service.
Incredible traditional Korean food. We got the multi course meal but here were the highlights. Bossam cold pork belly wraps Grilled Eel Braised Short Rib Bbq short rib Side dishes with great attention to detail
We got the 4 per person dinner course meal for $70 each. This north korean inspired korean restaurant is very delicious. I would definitely come back.
