When I was at Yorkville East for middle school I used to come here as it had much cheaper prices than other delis, they have some good snacks and a large selection of drinks. I haven't got fresh food from here but its good for snacks and drinks before school.Food: 4/5
I found myself walking thru the upper east side and decided to step inside the York deli. The guy behind the counter was very helpful and I ended getting a pastrami sandwich. The sandwich was great and a really good size. Prices are super reasonable. The menu here will satisfy anybody who is looking for a deli type breakfast or lunch.
Fast Delivery, good food and friendly personal service. Cons: expensive. Would not include my free small coffee with my breakfast sandwich because "I didn't get meat on the sandwich" I got an extra egg instead. 4.00 for an egg sandwich on a roll even by NYC standards, it should definitely have came with a free coffee, especial because I am a repeat customer. I ended up agreeing to pay for the coffee, and he charged me a dollar for it. Aside from this incident, this place is definitely a 4 star deli, and worth using for anyone in the area.
Terrible experience. I pass by the deli daily; so decided to stop in today ... mistake. The guys were somewhat rude and the pictures displayed on the front with prices mean nothing. I told him; the number 5 Roast Beef comes with fries and to add cheddar to RB. when he finishes he says, oh no fries you did not say... UHM yes I did. Even mentioned the photos outside. The charge was nearly double, could've went somewhere nice for what I paid.
I go to York Deli for two things: sliced meats and cheeses, and their chicken cutlet sandwich on a roll. Both are reasonably priced, and those looking for a quick and easy and delicious! sandwich would be well advised to stop in.
They make Cheeseburger without cheese , and outside prices is fake only one reason why I go there just saw prices outside and they said outside prices is fake I accepted it and ordered Cheeseburger for 9$ without cheese Bun and cutlet for 9$ Never again !!!!!! And those Spanish guys so Rude !!! feels like I came to eat free meal from their home
Came here over four years ago and the cashier was very nasty to me and the people I was with. He falsely accused one of us of having a fake ID when trying to purchase alcohol and was incredibly disrespectful. Never coming back here again.
I've always been skeptical of this place, from the be-all approach they take to their non-deli, non-bakery, non-pizzeria "contemporary" joint. Stopped in for a quick bite after the gym and it was better than I anticipated. Maybe it's really worthy of 3 stars and the additional star is because I was starving, but the pizza was solid, the garlic bread not bad albeit a bit too greasy, and I'm not sure what from, but it wasn't garlic or the typical spices and the grab-n-go tex mex salad was flavorful. Service was accommodating, as I was pretty out of it and they beared bore? with me.
Love this awesome place. Real New York City Deli. The coffee oh it’s good
Was 15¢ short on $5 worth of drinks yeah I actually mean cents like 15 pennies and he told me he couldn't let me pay him later and that I had to use an ATM. I'll just go to one of the other 17 million corner stores in NYC.
