I never thought I'd ever be harassed and bullied as much as I have from the police. 

I don't know if their choice of actions in handling their situation was driven by commission or personal gain but it's really not a good feeling to help police to best of your ability and have them put you in a rock and a hard place just to watch you scramble at their mercy. All of the tools necessary to contact me where at their disposal (e-mail, phone number, et cetera) my folks were disturbed with several blocked calls, and finally, a bang on their door with overaggressive, unnecessary and unprofessional communicative measures. 

I was out of the country and called the detective for guidance and clarification of what I needed to do after their ridiculous, indirect attempt to get in contact with me and after stating that I would comply with a new, undocumented court date, the officer threatened my arrest at the border over the phone. 
A couple days later, after being frightened for my safety by police while cooperating with police, I got a call stating that my presence was no longer needed in court and that I should "ignore" a legal document that appeared to be government issued.

I called the Ontario Court of Law to get documented confirmation of the annulled subpoena that was sent to me in the mail. After a brief conversation with the secretary I discovered that subpoenas are issued solely by the police and they must be delivered to you by hand and in person to be valid, not mailed. 

In the end, I felt violated, thankfully not physically. 

I now, regretfully, feel uncomfortable around these people. I was naive to think, as a proud, law abiding citizen, that I would not experience such conniving, unprofessional conduct from individuals working in the force.

Not worth the star. Called to place a report for harassment/stalking, still waiting for cops to show, been waiting longer than an hour. Thank you York Regional Police, I feel so SAFE.

Now I have to get my FAC to feel safe.
