Friendly staff, good prices & noodles, but the flavors were not great. It started out okay and kind of got worse as we ate. Never received a refill of our drinks, either. Good spot for a quick, inexpensive bite - tastiness of the food is not guaranteed!
I think they serve food at Anaya restaurant now. Food was tasty. Spicy vegetarian dumplings & spicy edamame are must try if you like spicy food!Recommended dishesVeggie Dumplings
Fish sauce may be and ingredient but no one finds that sauce to be a pleasant smell. This was one of my worst dining experiences. The food was passable to average at best. The sushi rolls were lackluster, the boa bun was sloppy and unappealing. The ramen was the strongest of the dishes and it wouldn't compete with and top ramen stop but it was decent. Sadly that is the best compliment I can give. Would i recommend this store? No but if have a craving for ramen and you close by then...maybe.
I will never, ever return here. I'm vegan and ordered the mixed vegetarian dumplings, which I have had in the past. The server by mistake gave me the chicken and shrimp version of the dish. Since the chicken was all minced up, I didn’t realized until I bit into the shrimp dumpling. When I asked, the server argued with me that meat is included in the vegetarian dish, until another server came and mediated the dispute. The server eventually apologized. They didn’t charge me for that dish, but still charged me for the spring rolls. I am so incredibly upset by this - not only did they feed me meat, but tried to gaslight me into thinking it was my fault.
Service was really bad, they forgot my friend's order and also never refilled our water until we were about to leave. The food was fine. Both steamed and fried dumplings were great, edamame was pretty mushy and the entrees were average.
Ever since merge with Anaya sushi service has been terrible and slow. They dining room is also freezing literally must wear winter coat to sit. Food is good but don’t bother going in to eat.
Been coming back for years. I started like everyone else with the soups, they are great. But since have started trying everything. The pad woon sen is my daughter favorite, Along with the bobble teas. Pre COVID dine in was the best, all the great smells coming from the kitchen. Unfortunately now is take out only.
Food is Fast, Fresh and always Hot. Portions are large and ask for a take home container. The free water kept coming and was happy as I over added hot sauce to my dish. Bathroom downstairs was clean and had paper towels. Ask to eat downstairs with a large party and push tables together. They have two diner booths that sit four comfortability In warmer weather they set up seating outside.
Cheap and fairly quick service, just need to find parking downtown. In ordered my dish in Thai, always seems to come out better that way. I love that the pad Thai isn't dry.
I couldn't recommend this place more. The location and building give off a distinctly artsy big city vibe. It's a great place to bring a first date, second date, or maybe even fourth date. Partially because of the vibe, but mainly because the food is good and the prices are cheap. I brought a date here, and with 2 meals and an appetizer we paid less than $30. Can't beat that with a popsicle stick.
