Horrible it's always packed! I did the training sessions and found out it was a 3 MONTH CONTRACT! DO NOT DO IT! There are so many effective trainings were you can pay as you go. My trainer cancelled on me. I could not get a phone call to get another session! And they are still taking money out of my account! Never again worst gym ever!

Close to home, nice environment , nice staff. For me they always resolves any issues the gym might have at that time. Clean restrooms - lockers, love the classes. No complains from me. 😁

I like the gym. Perfect location. The gym can get crowed at peek hours that's why I scheduled my workout for before or after peek hours. I love it, I love it , I love it.

I saw a deal on the main page of their website that said $99 for 12 months. I went there right after viewing this and they told me that the deal had ended. I showed them the website stating this. I was told by staff there was nothing they could do to sign me up for that deal and that is was over. Management told me the same thing. FALSE ADVERTISING. I tried to call corporate and the phone numbers just filters to the closest YouFit location. I tried to email corporate and my email was returned. SAD!

Pros: 1) Large workout space. 2) Pretty friendly staff. 3) Fairly new equipment (but starting to show wear & tear on padding). Cons: 1) ROACHES. The locker room, bathroom and showers are infested with roaches. I see at least one every day I go (about 4 times per week) crawling up the walls, scurrying out of lockers, as well as overhead and on the walls in the showers. Disgusting. I've pointed this out to the Manager many times. The response: "I only have it in my budget to exterminate once a month. Corporate won't let me spend any more." Seriously? He also said this club has over 9,000 members. With that volume/revenues, why can't they exterminate more frequently? At some point, the Health Department must be called in to inspect. Until then, bring your own can of Raid, because Management hardly seems interested fixing this. 2) General lack of cleanliness & clutter on the workout floor/changing areas – despite signs saying everyone needs their own workout towel, less than 5% of people use one. Instead, people use paper towels to mop up their sweat, and those paper towels often end up discarded on the floor, or stuffed into the beverage holders on each machine. There are piles of dust below the free weight racks uncleaned ever since the opening a few years ago. The bathroom/locker area, especially the showers, often have trash all over. The showers also are becoming moldy and in desperate need of a complete scrub down with bleach. Again, I questioned the Manager about the sub-par cleaning, and he claims it’s due to the same issue as the roaches—money. They know it’s a problem, but he supposedly doesn’t have enough in his budget. He also commented that he himself had to come in on Easter Sunday to help clean. Really?!? This place is open 24 hours Mon-Fri, they should have more frequent cleaning especially during peak hours. 3) Ongoing AC issues – some days it feels abnormally warm and humid inside the club. You can ask the staff to turn on the two large ceiling fans to get air circulated. Management has pointed out to the thermostats locked in his office “as mandated by the Corporate Office” at temperatures in the low 70s, yet the actual temps/humidity through the club are far higher some days especially during the summer. 4) Few people re-rack their weights. You’ll spend 10 minutes trying to track down the specific dumbbell you’re looking for. And I’ve never heard Management ever make a PA announcement reminding members to re-rack their weights. A little enforcement of this standard gym-etiquette by Management would go a long way. 5) Free weights & machines don’t go up that high in weight (this chain targets new gym goers). Heaviest dumbbell or barbell you’ll find is 90 lbs. Machines also max out at relatively low weights. 6) Many MANY new gym novices here who’ve never worked out before. While it’s great to see a growing base of fitness enthusiasts, many members appear to be still going up the learning curve of basic gym etiquette. People will often sit on a machine, casually scrolling Facebook for 5-10 minutes, completely unaware that someone is waiting to use the same machine. Then when you ask if you could please work in with them, you’re often met with a blank stare of incomprehension. These gym newbies are also the ones most likely to be leaving you the gift of a puddle of their sweat when they finish on the machine you’re about to start using. Despite the complaints, the gym is convenient to where I live, and the staff and most of the members are very friendly. The big void here is there seems to be little sense of pride and ownership by Management to fix the problems. I’ve been a member for a year, and hopefully one day we will see some positive changes. Until then, just remember: you get what you pay for here (free roaches included).
