5 stars for the banh mi, best I've ever had and I've had plenty from Canada to Florida and all over Mass for my taste and 3.5 stars for the customer service.  4.7 for the cooked lunch options.

I found two pieces of hair in my food. Gray hairs. Please wear hair nets. I would like to come back because the Asian food is delicious, but that was disgusting finding hair in my food. I couldn’t eat it after that.

Yummy Express is a reputable place that has a long standing in the city of Lowell, especially among its Cambodian population. Although times have changed since my childhood, this place is still similar to the relic I remember. The sandwiches and food overall is at an affordable price. A grocery store across the parking lot so you can also get groceries along side the snacks you get from this place. SO if you are looking for a quick meal to take home- this is a place I recommend. Especially the sandwiches Banh mi :

My favorite banh mi shop, the bread they use is super crispy and fresh. The sauce is amazing and they offer many packed Cambodian foods and soups too. I won't order banh mi from any other place besides Yummy Express! The price has increased by quite a lot over the pandemic, it used to be only $5 four years ago.

As soon as I came inside...all eyes on me. Maybe it's because my skin is white?? It was uncomfortable. Prejudice I what I felt. I ordered a beef sandwich. The entire time I was like just saying hurry up to myself because I just wanted to get out of there. Nobody really smiled....I didn't feel welcomed.I won't be going there ever again.

The food is good. A lot of dishes to choose from including packaged foods, Vietnamese sandwich, boba drinks, and shaved iced in the summer. Accepts cash only. Service can be better. A line here doesn't exist. You better be prepared to shout out your order or push people out of the way to get to the front to get your order in.

It's okay. I used to go there a lot but I found a few better places to get bahn mi sandwiches and bubble tea. They have an assortment of khmer food as well but it's usually really greasy. Plus, it's not really clean. I found a roach in my nephew's bubble tea the last time I went as well. At first he thought it was a pearl, but it sadly wasn't. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone but to each their own.
