Great spot for early breakfast or brunch on the weekends. The wait times tend to get longer at prime brunch-time, but we were seated right away when we went around 9:30am on a Saturday morning. The breakfast menu has a variety of offerings for all kinds of appetites and palates! They have particularly good home fries. The wait staff are patient, attentive, friendly, and efficient. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone who lives in and around the Brookline area.

A great place for brunch, lunch or dinner. One of the most famous places for brunch in Brookline. Their signature sandwiches are really good. I tried the Reuben and it did not disappoint. Ask for the potato salad as your side dish, you will love it. Service was great and it's not the prices are reasonable. Expect a long wait if you go for brunch on the weekend.

A favorite for locals and visitors alike. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and comforting. Would recommend going on a weekday early evening if you want to miss the crowd; not an ideal time for most but you'll get served quickly and there's breakfast all day! Weekend brunch wait can be upwards of 30-45 min, especially if you have a party of over five or more. Highly recommend anything off the breakfast menu, especially the challah french toast. A cup of matzo ball soup will keep you warm on a cold day!

Got in by going solo to the bar on a busy Saturday afternoon. Had a giant Pastrami sandwich on rye with Swiss cheese and one of their store-branded Strawberry sodas. The sandwich came with good slaw and a selection of pickles. Everything was great. But be prepared to wait in line to get in, especially on a weekend.

The breakfast here is the best I've ever had in my life. No other restaurant even compares. Zaftigs is the Golden standard for breakfast. Banana stuffed French toast was excellent!
