I love bakery and given I travel often I am able to try a lot of different bakeries in the US and abroad. Zak the Baker is truly outstanding. The breakfast sandwich with salmon bacon, egg, and cheese is absolutely an incredibly outstanding sandwich. The chocolate croissant light, buttery, and the perfect balance of chocolate. India Arie and Sade playing in the background made it for a perfect morning. Staff are so nice and friendly. Highly recommend Zak the Baker to start your day!
The pastries and bagels were delicious! My favorite was the cinnamon bun; very soft and flavorful. However we ordered online and it was pretty chaotic to get our coffees; we asked an employee where to pick them up and he didn’t explain that we didn’t have to wait in the long coffee line with everyone else and figured that out once when we saw other people walking up
Great brunch spot in Wynwood. It's very popular so there was a 20-30 min wait to get a table, or you could stand in the line 15-20min to order takeout. Also took a long while to get the food too. But it was very fresh and tasty. We loved the Salmon-bacon not real bacon burger. The Lemonade drink was not as good. Apple crisp was Amazing. Overall good experience, would recommend ordering ahead.
Amazing service and food! The young girl that served us was super nice and friendly. Hubby and I were so eager to try the salmon Reuben sandwich that we both got the same thing. Also had their espresso. Great experience! Get their bakery items, all super delicious - from past times I only purchased their bread.
This place has simple staples that are what I would call elevated. They have a great egg sandwich with yummy salmon bacon which was the best breakfast of the week for me. Their iced lattes are the best in the city and their chocolate chip cookies are great too. The portions of all their items are pretty big and reasonably priced. I was lucky to get a table easily both times I came and the man serving me was both attentive and friendly.
There sour dough is so soft from inside and so Crispy from outside its just perfect.. They make everything on the spot. you can see literally everything it's a open kitchen.. The food was phenomenal! Very good. Definitely coming back.. We had the salmon bacon with egg and cheese , tuna malt and French toast for dessert it was so good... The pictures/videos can talk for themselves
Perfection. From the gentleman working the front door to our servers taking care of us, standards of service are simply the best. The croissants are something you would get in France, and the salmon bacon is something you haven’t seen or tried anywhere else. This place is truly a gem, you must go!
STOP READING AND JUST GO!!!! It’s the greatest kosher bakery in Florida. If you want a brunch type place, this is the place. I come here constantly. They are always packed but the service is great and I never have issues or loose my patience.
This place is at best, only okay. The breakfast sandwiches are okay and so are the other pastries I got including the croissant. The best thing that I had here however that I did think was special was the babka. The babka's dough was light and airy while the chocolate was copious and delectable.
This place is located in the beautiful and wonderfully artistic design district across the street from Wynwood Walls and their bread is a work of art so it fits right in. I ordered the salmon Ruben with a side of salmon bacon on the side. It was delicious. The salmon bacon is cut thin, slightly fatter in the middle and seared till it's charred around the thin park, then partially caramelized, then in the middle the fish oil is thick. It is amazing and I will order as a side with anything else they serve. Treat yourself and do the same.
