This place is awesome! My friend who lives in SLC took us to this place and we loved it. Delicious dishes, great service and reasonable prices! On the house soup is a definitely a great surprise! Also, very welcoming owners. Give it a try …
This Persian restaurant serves fantastic authentic homemade Persian meals.I have had several meals at this amazing restaurant and it has never disappointed me. The staff and the owners are very courteous and pay special attention to details and go above and beyond to ensure that every meal is a success and that the best service is provided. The variety of food on the menu is exactly what I would expect for a lunch menu. Portions and presentation are just right. The variety of food and refrigerated items in the market section of this restaurant are also great, so don’t miss out the opportunity to stop by, pick up your favorite Persian ingredients and have a great meal!
Great variety of products for sale and friendly, helpful people work there. Today I had a Ground beef kabob. It was really good and reasonably priced. Looking forward to trying some other items on their menu. My son loves the ground beef kabobs with rice and with bread. My husband likes the chicken kabobs best. There are some delicious nut variety packs to choose from. I like the Balconi Tiramisu dessert and am looking forward to trying the Balconi Chocolate dessert. We have purchased lots of different spices at the store. They have a large selection at reasonable prices.
Very much enjoyed this place. It was highly ranked and thought we would check it out. Staff was so friendly. Met the owners and they were very kind. The food was great! Had the Barley Soup and the Combo. My only wish was that the bread was warm instead of cold. Dont let that stop you though. Also given the choice, go for the chicken over the beef. I enjoyed both, but liked the chicken more.
This is probably the best Persian food that you would have around Salt Lake area. The beef kabob is so tender and it melts in your mouth. The couple who own the restaurant are so friendly and will treat you very nicely. I highly recommend to give them a try and you will become a regular customer.
I’ve only been there a couple times but the food’s always been amazing, also the sides are over the top delicious. Their fresh bread is extraordinary, specially the barbari bread. I tried it for the first time a couple days ago and it was totally different than the other manufactured barbaries : Tasted like Iran.
Very authentic food with some of my friends saying it reminds them of the kabobs they had back in Tehran. The grocery store also has an excellent selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, tea and coffee, and sweets like baklava.
I took my American colleagues to Zaitoon restaurant for my farewell party. They ordered Koobideh, Chicken Kabob, and Barg Kabob. They loved all the foods, but Koobideh was their favorite. Their rice was served with Zaferan and butter and their Kabob was juicy and delicious. I always buy homemade Barbary bread which is very fresh for my breakfast from Zaitoon market.
