A childhood favorite, though they have changed locations a few times since then!  We enjoy going into the store and petting the puppies and seeing our friend the giant turtle crawl along!  The staff is always friendly to us and we enjoy our visits!

There is a severe lack on toys in most of the cages. Especially for the birds, which are intelligent creatures that need stimulation. Furthermore, many animals such as budgies, cockatiels, hamsters, and rats are crammed in cages that are much too small. Several pet rats also looked ill. 

Animals need much more care than this pet store is willing or able to give. Please do not shop here unless they show they can properly care for their animals.

Their products are reasonably priced and all of their critters that I have been in contact with were super friendly. I have gotten two male rats from there and they are very friendly.

All of the rodents are on pine bedding. That is literally the one type of bedding they should never have. Respiratory problems galore. The puppies are also on pine bedding when they should be given blankets. They dont keep their other animals in good housing, kittens in a critter nation, an alligator in a tank barely longer than it's body, birds desperate to escape, large snakes in Tupperware containers far too small. PLEASE take your business elsewhere.

I've seen mold growing in the tanks - drinking water has been old and yellow; not to mention they use the worst bedding, a type that is known to cause respiratory issues. I honestly wouldn't purchase anything living from this store. They need a better set of staff.
