We just completed a move out of state, with multiple drop offs, and with a grand piano. Zippy Shell did an excellent job without any damage or loss. They were fast and professional. Hiring a local company was also a benefit as we had items to pick up locally. They offered great value - 25% less than another competing bid and many special requests were handled at no additional charge. Curt works hard to satisfy customers at the best price. It was also easy to obtain quotes and book moving services on short notice.

The guys that came were awesome to say the least. They packed our entire house when we didn't believe everything would fit, everything arrived at our final destination in Spokane WA without a single item broken. I'm extremely happy with the level of service and professionalism from Zippy Shell of OC.

Saul and George were awesome. Quick and efficient loading. Our shell arrived in our destination city before we left our original city. All personnel were easy to work with. Worth the cost for our move from California to Illinois.

Do not use them for out of state moves!! I was told that most 2 bedroom apartments only require a single 15' cage but that my belongings may require a 2nd 10' cage. I was quoted on both a single 15' cage move and a move using a 15' and a 10' cage. The contract however was written for only the single cage. I asked why the 2nd cage wasn't on my contract and it was explained that the hope was that only a single cage would be required and this way I wouldn't be required to put a deposit on 2 cages. I was assured that if the 2nd cage was used, that I would be charged the amount I was quoted (which I have in writing in an email). 2 cages were used and I was overcharged by $1,010.00! I was told by my move coordinator (who isn't in the local office and the local office has nothing to do with your move once you are loaded) that I didn't have a contract for the 2nd cage so they charged me peak moving rates for the 2nd cage which is over a thousand dollars more than I was quoted! I forwarded him the emails showing the quote and he informed me that he would refund me $350.00 as a "sign of good faith." I spoke to Brenda at the Orange County Zippy Shell office and asked if she could help correct the situation; she spoke with the manager and told me that there is nothing they could do. I was never refunded the "good faith" refund and I am currently disputing the charges with the credit card company.
