A great spot for some good Korean food and drinking action. A Korean staple is good beer and soju options and they have it. They have tasty Ban Chan and their fried seaweed rolls are legit. The egg on our fried rice was a bit over done but the rice itself was delicious. The whole squid was a treat and super authentic. All in all this is a good place for groups to enjoy food and drinks well into the night. Good times
This place is amazing. From the second I opened the takeout bag, I could smell the seafood pancake and sweet kalbi. The seafood pancake was so crispy and full of toppings. The kalbi was fall of the bone. I'm salivating thinking about the meal I had again. The tofu soup was also good but the japchae was overcooked. There is a slight wait but I think it is worth it.
Loved it! I had ordered spicy pork and kimchi jigae, both the orders were served with steam rice along with fishcakes/kimchi. The food was really good with such a generous portion. Kimchi Jigae was still warm & the spicy pork was sooooo good! The package was good too. Yes, I would order again when I am in San Francisco!
if you’re looking for some great Korean food and drinks, you will definitely want to stop by this place. the atmosphere is fun with K-pop playing on a projector screen, and the food is amazing! i had the takoyaki balls and cheese buldak spicy chicken with cheese and would highly recommend both. they also have sake but i didn’t try it ; staff is friendly as well.
We had never had Korean food but so glad after a late comedy show heading back to the Nikko Hotel we bumped into this little gem just a few blocks from our hotel. The restaurant is a bit small but packed always I am sure as it was that night around 11pm. It is open late and from the reviews they do not disappoint. The reviews hold true let me tell ya! Food was great, service was as well!
Very impressed with the service staff..eventhough was busy, she was very accommodative with our Vegetarian request. Vicki, thank you very much. Deserve more than 5 star rating. Vegetarian options: We ordered vegetarian
Decent food. Too bad our experience was nullified by bad service and hyper loud customers. Somehow this place seems to attract the loudest people in this city. It was so loud I couldn't enjoy the food or hear what my partner next to me was saying. If you care about your sanity and self worth I suggest getting takeout instead.
We needed something fast and easy to eat so we made our way down to ZZAN. There’s a 10% discount if you were to leave a review so that’s a plus! Anyway, we ordered the takoyaki guilty pleasure and their soy garlic fried chicken. The meal came with some small banchan - salad, kimchi, sliced fish cake, and these greens. A lot of restaurants don’t include a lot of octopus in their takoyaki and this restaurant isn’t any different . The fried chicken, on the other hand, was good. The flavor was there in every bite. The only issue we had with it was the texture. Fried chicken should be crispy!
Be ready to show proof of covid vaccination. QR code scan to view the menu, but still must place the order through the waitstaff. The atmosphere is nice and chill; music isn’t too loud and the lighting isn’t too harsh - it’s a happy medium.
This place was amazing. It reminded me of when I took a trip to South Korea. It was like stepping out of SF into a hip and trendy South Korean Restaurant. The food is simply DELICIOUS and thr first bite of the spicy ramyeon took me down memory lane. My new favorite eatery :
