I have heard that this very new restaurant has had some growing pains and so I was pleasantly surprised with our experience. My positive opinion is admittedly partially influenced by the fact that this is arguably the coolest building in Buffalo. I think it's awesome that even part of the building has been renovated after decades of disuse. If you're not at least partially impressed by the history of the building I don't really know what to tell you, maybe you spend your $100 to eat at a gaudy modern Russel's Steakhouse situation? The layout of the restaurant may be off-putting to some people, but I appreciate its uniqueness. Our server was very nice and well informed. The food was excellent and the 2 small plates that we ordered were not so small, which was a nice surprise after having dined at some other places where that was not the case. We also shared a steak which was cooked very nicely. The cocktails were very yummy and there was a small but seemingly well curated list of options.

My wife and I had dinner here for our anniversary. It is absolutely fabulous! There is a great selection of classics with some unique Buffalo-food influences. The food is impeccable with wonderful presentation but it's not pretentious The wait staff was very knowledgeable and fun. The building itself is incredibly unique and worth visiting on its own.

I went here for their brunch, and was very impressed with the quality of food. The wait staff was friendly and inviting, while professional. The venue is an eclectic mix of old and new, romantic to be sure. The one complaint I do have is that the speed of service was slow, despite the lack of costumers present. If you are staying at the hotel, do not be fooled by the low price for a room. The breakfast is expensive.

I was excited to try this new restaurant in the Buffalo scene. Went with a group from work - we had reservations. We were seated in this strange hallway type atmosphere that was a bit loud and echoed quite a bit. The service was not good at all from what I would expect of a restaurant of this caliber. The wine service was slow and the waiter was uninformed about the different selections. We ordered appetizers right away and it took almost an hour for them to be served. Then we ordered dinner - which was much speedier - however the food wasn't anything to write home about. Most everything was prepared Sous Vide which isn't inherintly a bad thing however most of the food wasn't finished properly. My steak was barely seared off and the finishing sauce did not pair well. Normally I wouldn't be that picky but for the price and type of restaurant it was I was more or less disappointed. It may be just too new so I might give it another chance. I'll update my review if anything changes.

Perfectly cooked steak, great old character in the building mixed with a modern twist, great arrived, the prices won't murder your wallet
