After living here for 8 months, I can only say "thank god my lease is almost up". Unbelievably ambivalent staff, constant (weekly) facility issues and mandatory repairs, ancient fixtures (I have a thermostat and intercom that both do nothing), and inconsiderate neighbors make living here a nightmare. There is constant noise whether its from construction, false-alarm fires, loudly conversing staff in the halls, or other tenants. 

The elevators are regularly out of service, the water is turned off for four hour (plus) stretches weekly, the front doors to the building don't function(I've alternatively had to force the doors open to leave and also deal with them being wide open all night), my apartment door broke trapping me in my apartment for hours, the laundry services regularly eat money and destroy clothes, my heat was non-functional for a two week period in December, and everything is much more expensive than it seems. But hey... they put a coffee machine in the lobby so that's neat I guess. 

Since I've moved in the amount I'm required to pay monthly has increased twice (despite the fact that I've had the same lease). I spent two months arguing a fee that was left over on "my account" from the previous tenant. The worst part about all of this is that nobody seems bothered by any of the above. Nobody seems to care or want to help despite the fact that these are slum-like conditions. The staff will try to sell you by saying that they are "under new management" which is true, but the new management seems just as poor as the previous.

Building is nice but actual apartments can use some updating. The metal cabinet doors in the kitchen and closet doors are way behind times. There is a chic feel to building which was recently sold. Perhaps new owners will initiate modifications. Parking is not free to residents and unfortunately the street parking is limited to 2-3 hours on the immediately surrounding streets. Definite downer.

Great location, friendly staff and residents, not far from all of the happenings of downtown trolley square. The place has a really nice feel and a lot of business professionals seem to be swarming the place. I have to say that the new management has turned the place around. 

The office is very sleek and clean, has very pleasant smell. All of the renovations of the apartments are really great as well! The stainless steel appliances and the dark-wood cabinets are a nice touch in the Simply Modern apartments. The other ones they call Classic are very quaint as well if your not looking for all of the bells and whistles of upgrades but just a place to call home. 

Neighborhood seems like a very inviting place too.. You don't see shady characters like you do in most places but like a person once told me... 'When looking for an apartment, you always want to check out the cars parked in the lot and that will tell you all you need to know about the community" and it seems this place had given me a good feel just from going by that principle. 

I would recommend it highly and a few of my friends are loving living here as well!
