This establishment gave me mix feelings. Upon walking in, I was met with a nice ambiance and a mix crowd. The atmosphere was nice. Music playing, customers conversing, and beautiful lighting. I went around 5pm on a Saturday and it surprised me to say the least how many people were in the bar. Sat down up stairs next to a great energetic couple who were comfortable enough to pick up a banter with my group. After that, things kind of went downhill. The servers have to work the upstairs and downstairs, which led to a little gap in return service. In a party of six, the food came out separately despite everyone placing their orders at the same time. We had to retrieve The server multiple times for the orders being incorrect. The food itself was not great. Edible to provide substance (except the wings; see pictures) but not nearly as good as it could have been.

It takes way too long to get a drink here even when the bar isn't crowded. College dive crowd. You can do better unless that's what you're looking for.

I regularly go to 1831, which is a special bright spot in the district, new bartenders they have working there are just as great as their happy hour and prices. 1831 is a diamond that continues to impress me every time.

I was able to celebrate my 30th Birthday a couple of weeks ago at this fine venue and I must say it was a memorable experience! The staff/ management were very courteous and cooperative and made sure that I had a wonderful experience! Pricing was very reasonable, and was definitely worth it!

Our first time in DC and we found this little gem. Awesome happy hour prices. Cutest, nicest bartender and such a fun atmosphere. Place is just super cool and trendy. Definitely take some time to come out here. This will certainly be on our list of places to visit again when we come back! Thanks for showing us such a great time at this bar.
