Went there on Friday night food was amazing the staff was wonderful. Some of the best service I have ever seen. The food can be as spicy as you would like or not spicy at all. Thanks for the amazing food can’t want to go back!

We have enjoyed the food here for many years but sadly will not be returning after tonight. We tried to use a $50 gift card that we had misplaced and recently found. The card had small print that said expires in 6 month but we know that it is against the law in MN for gift cards to have expiration dates per statute 325G.53 so we assumed we would be able to use it. Not only did they not honor the gift card, the server argued with us about the law saying they were covered by the fine print. This is not true per the written law. We asked to speak to the owner who was in back. He refused to come out to speak to us because he was busy. The restaurant was virtually empty by this time. He is breaking the law with this policy and wouldn't even come out to speak to us about it. We urge people not to support his business.

We visited 1st of Thai for the first time with some friends last weekend. The waitress was incredibly rude, basically telling us what we needed to order for our children. She argued with us about the meals we chose for our kids, and at one point walked away from the table because she was annoyed that we weren't taking her advice. I work at SSM, and watched her treat a table of our students incredibly rudely as well. The evening only got worse when our friends tried to use a gift card that was apparently expired. There is a state law in MN that no gift card can be denied due to an expiration date, no matter what the policy is. Not only did they refuse to accept the card, but the waitress continued to argue with our friends, and the owner refused to come out to talk with us about it claiming he was busy. (There was one other full table in the place). We will not be returning and will urge our students to stay away as well.

Staff was great,...the young man and young lady working the front were very nice. I'm a truck driver and I didn't want to eat at the truck stop across the street. The young man took time out to explain some dishes without me feeling like I was a bother to him. I ordered the combination number 4 and damn it was good. Best egg rolls ever as a side....tried their Curry puffs....not to my liking but my wife would have loved them. If I ever stop here again I am going to try something new..... awesome place.....thanks

Food is amazing and super fresh! Perfect place for dates and to go alone and eat. They do have different levels of spice that you can add to your food. I love the food here!!
