We stayed in the Rome room and it was really beautiful! It was very clean (except for the leftover Sonic shake in the fridge from someone before us....) and very romantic. The lady at the front desk was really nice. There were a couple of things though that weren't my favorite. My husband and I love to go to bed and breakfast places a lot, and we have been to quite a few, so it is hard not to compare them. The breakfast wasn't what I expected. It was good, however my husband and I tend to wake up earlier and we are usually hungry before 9:30. I wish we could have had breakfast earlier. They had some things out there before 9:30, but they weren't that good. With bed and breakfast places, I expect there to be a nice breakfast where they can bring it to us or they have us sit in a nice dining room. I have been to places where they ask you what time you would like breakfast the next morning, and it is wonderful! I wish this place did that. It was great how there were complimentary movies, but some popcorn or hot cocoa to go with it would have been great. We still had a good time. It is a very pretty place.

We stayed here on our wedding night and again for our 3rd anniversary in the Tahiti and Maui suites. Overall it's a great place. Sure, the location and coming in from the outside is a bit "different" from your typical B&B. But each room was really quiet and private. The rooms and themes are romantic and not weird/bizarre/old fashioned like other themed inns in Utah. The breakfast was yummy and food is laid out to snack in the evening or earlier morning. The crepes and berry cobbler were delicious! We really enjoyed both stays at 5th East Hall. Only trouble was getting in the first time, and this time the jets in the tub in the Maui room didn't work. The breakfast spread has improved since 3 Years ago. Overall I would recommend staying here. It's very private, quiet, and romantic.

We had a decent experience staying here. There are other places I would recommend over 5th East Hall. If you are looking for a really good breakfast, this isn't the place. The location is very unexpected. When we booked our stay, I imagined it to be in a house, but soon found out that it was in the bottom of a strip mall. That didn't matter too much, just a surprise. The staff (a total of two people that we interacted with) were nice and helpful. They leave at 8 pm, so there is no help afterwards if you need it. The room was actually really nice (the Tahiti suite). The only complaints we had were that there was no shower, only the tub. There was a hand shower from the tub... So you have to make sure you don't spray water out of the tub while using it. Also, there were hairs under the covers on the bed. The breakfast was a letdown. For the amount we paid we expected more out of the breakfast (especially since they claim to be a bed & breakfast). The crepes they served were tasty, but very small. They only made one for each of us. Other than the 2 crepes and 2 small bowls of peach cobbler, they had less than what a continental breakfast would offer. The Marriott has better breakfasts, sadly.

Our stay was wonderful! The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially with the breakfast crepes. We had walked into the lobby to get the crepes only to find them gone. The woman at the desk went to the kitchen to make us some. Wonderful service!

Nice clean place. It was kind of weird though. We where the only ones in the building that was under a strip mall but we knew this from other reviews that we read. The sand was kind of cool until you had to continually clean it off your feet to get into bed.The decorations in the room where real nice and the tub was big and roomy.
