PLEASE WARN THE PEOPLE BEFORE THEY PARK NOT TO SHARE A TICKET THAT HAS REMAINING TIME ON IT FROM ANOTHER CUSTOMER: Dear Spirit of God, First I would like to thank you for not leaving nor forsaking our family on April 25, 2014 when a boot was placed on my sister's car. By no means were we trying to disrespect any rules of the parking lot. I believe a pay it forward spirit is at work in people at the parking lot who are just trying to look out for the next customer if they have time left on their ticket. It is an act of kindness that Lanier Parking does not tolerate. But rules are made to be enforced and they enforce it with a boot that is $75 a day. Lord God, Times are hard and people are under pressure when they go to the Summit Building for IRS are just whatever brings them there and then just outside the building a parking lot full of rules that keep people from showing kindness and generosity by giving the next customer a ticket with remaining time on it. Parking is needed but parking should be a pleasure not a prison of adding more burdens on people grievous to bear. With that in mind I do wish to acknowledge some people that work for Lanier Parking and thank them for taking the boot off of our car after we made a plea that we were not trying to disrespect the parking lot. We just didn't know the rules of not showing kindness and charity in helping the next customer if you have more time left on your ticket. Ms. Charma, May God Bless your heart for understanding our cry for help. You are truly a God Sent Angel of Mercy. I Pray Lanier Parking change their rule about tickets with remaining time left on it and customers trying to look out one for another. We need each others help. Peace and Amen

Not often that people write about parking unless it's negative. I had a bad parking experience at Lanier that was resolved VERY fairly and quickly. I park at several downtown Atlanta parking lots for work. During peak convention times, the parking rates go up ridiculously. On one day during last week's Mart show, I entered the Lanier lot on the corner of Simpson and West Peachtree and noticed the temporary sign read $8. I usually pay by phone, and when I checked my credit card account over the weekend, I noticed that I had been charged $25 (I think the lot attendant came by shortly after I entered and changed the sign for the Mart's peak day). I contacted Lanier using their generic "info" email address I found on the web. Less than 12 hours later, one of Lanier's general managers called me directly and offered me free parking for enough days to more than cover the difference between the posted rate and what I was charged. While this wouldn't have helped an out-of-town parker, it was more than fair for me.
