ICE CREAM SOUP, NO EXCHANGES We stopped here late one night on the way home to pick up some delicious Talenti gelato. We've used the two pints for $9.99 deal before at other locations and were always very satisfied. This location was running the same promotion, so we picked up two and tossed them into the basket. The cashier rang them up and put them into a bag, but never offered us a receipt. When we got home five minutes later, one of them was half melted and the other was just soup (both were very cool to the touch, however, which is why we didn't notice while checking them out. The cashier didn't notice either). We dumped both of them down the drain, since I value my health. We immediately called the store, and the man who answered the phone insisted that was impossible because "there's nothing wrong with the freezer." I pointed out that an employee could have forgot to stock them and tried covering his or her mistake. He told us to bring them back for an exchange. When we got there the next day, the cashier told us: no refund, no exchange, no nothing without a receipt (which we were never offered). The fact that we had been told earlier to bring them back for an exchange meant nothing. Very disappointed. Check to make sure your ice cream is frozen at this location.

It's an OK 7-11. Perhaps a bit busy, inside and out, for its own good.
