I've been going here for more than a decade. It's very convenient for me, whether I'm going to and from work, or to and from school. The overwhelming majority of the time, the staff are polite and friendly with everyone who comes in, although the women can get a bit snippy periodically. Then again, dealing with the public, who doesn't? They're quick to open another register if needed, and patient with the elderly long-term residents of the area, who come to get their lottery tickets, a cup of coffee, a newspaper, and chat with their friends in the corner. It isn't overrun by rowdies of any age, and the police officers who use it as a mini station are also polite. In this place, in this time, that in itself says much for the ambiance. And I can get my aloe juice fixes there on a regular basis. Gotta love it.

Weird incident today... I bring my items to 'Geza' at the counter and tell him I don't need a bag for it. He starts giggling to himself really strangely, but suggested it was at the notion that I would need a bag (???). I ask him what's funny and he didn't make a coherent response but kept grinning at me stupidly. I asked him if he was high, because he appeared to be, and he said that he was. I asked again, "you are?!" sort of in disbelief, and his answer was "Already!" Dafuq?
