Great laptop-friendly cafe, delicious Puerto Rican speciality coffee, fast wifi, good amount of seating gets pretty busy midday, light snack options, outlets, sunlight. The whiskey infused beans + hot latte was SO GOOD. So smooth. Light cinnamon nodes. Really enjoyed. It’s +$3 for the speciality beans which I did not realize when they were selling them at the front. I think that should be a more clear / transparent price tag w the samples at the front desk. Some of the decor is tacky. Like the neon lights. No restroom/washroom inside, but deli on the corner. It’s not the worst situation, but not ideal either. Chicken empanada was good. It was, however, cold. Wish it was heated up. $7 felt a bit steep. Overall, loved working here this morning. Coffee was smooth and perfect. It’s a cool vibe inside. You support local farms in PR. Courtney with curly hair who works there is wonderful.
Spicy vanilla latte is so special with a cinnamon kick. I feel the spicy and cinnamon kick both on the palates and gastro tract. One of the most special coffee drinks. A bit expensive totally worth a try. Skip the vanilla if you don't like the sweet touch.Food: 5/5
I came here because this is my third time at a 787 coffee shop, but a different location. Every time I go to this coffee shop at different locations, every time they deliver delicious and aromatic coffee, the service is always excellent, always friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is always inspiring and cozy. I feel very comfortable here, and the coffee is so flavorful. I always get the tres leches latte with a chicken empanada they stuff their empanadas with so much chicken and the first bite isn’t only dough. I love it here, they also have free wifi to do your work. I’m sitting here at the cafe with my laptop in my online class writing this review. I didn’t know there was an outlet at the bottom of my foot and I was panicking and when I got up to get my second drink of tres leches latte I found the outlet. My first drink of today was so flavorful, I always get the tres leches latte like I said, and my second drink was from another barista and the drink was kind of bitter because he forgot the tres leches syrup, and I came back to the counter to let him know and he was so accommodating and he was sorry that he forgot the syrup i didn’t mind because it was really busy and he was the only barista there. Nonetheless he made me a new one and told me that he would bring it to me. When he came to bring me the revised latte he stood there and waited for me to try it and asked if it was good. His name is Andres and he deserves a raise!!! That is excellent customer service. Thank you again!!! Please come to this Puerto Rican based cafe it’s so good, you will be glad you came and you’d regret not coming sooner!
Excellent experience! Every time I stop by. Definitely recommend the Coquito Rum Latte! The atmosphere is very chill and inviting. Hands down one of the best coffee shops in NYC.Food: 5/5
We found this little gem of a coffee shop during our latest trip to NYC. The staff was fantastic, the lattes were spectacular, and the fresh baked chocolate chip cookie was out of this world. This place is a must visit when you’re in NYC!Food: 5/5
Nice friendly environment, a few tables to sit and have coffee or use your laptop. A small outdoor area. The spiked lattes are really good. A unique coffee shop with a twist. Everyone friendly RecommendService: 4/5
Great side cafe on the street level on West 16th, just off of Eighth Avenue kitty corner from the A, C, E, and L subway station entrances. A super cool place that’s perfect for working on your laptop, a conversation with colleagues and friends and delicious coffees. 787 is a relative newcomer that has other locations in Puerto Rico, Florida, and now NYC. Their baristas, the beautiful Paola and Alef will guide you through these handcrafted coffee specialties that are available only here, and no other cafe in the city. Branding a one-of-a-kind selection of amazing liqueur driven original coffee cured items! The drink menu reflects the company’s uniquely innovative approach to the coffee-lover’s experience. A superb selection to taste from but at a price point that rises above the average Starbucks table top. But, also the ounces per cup as well. A luxury coffee bar worthy of the ambiance and great quality offered by its owner. Greatly recommended by regulars and connoisseurs alike.
10/10: Amazing coffee, with a real flavour, especially for coffee lovers. Very friendly, attentive service. A really good address.Food: 5/5
What an amazing find! We came across this gorgeous coffee shop by chance today and we're so glad that we did. We're on holiday from England and it's so great to find such a lovely place. The coffee beans come from Puerto Rico and we tried the Mazapan Latte rum beans and it was absolutely delicious. We also had a cookie which was the best we've ever tasted! I'm sorry that I don't know the guy's name that served us but he was so friendly and welcoming, it made my birthday even more special. We will definitely be back on our next trip to NY.
The coffee was so delicious! I had a Horchata latte and it was one of the best lattes I’ve had in awhile! The environment, service, and people were so lovely! Daniella was the person who helped me and my friends and she was so sweet! She asked us after if everything was to our liking and informed us about all their infused coffee beans and even their food options! Worth the try and will definitely be back!!
