Their food and tea options are solid. I'd give them more stars. but if you go at a popular time (apparently weekday mid-morning is quite popular), it can take 40 minutes or more for your drink order to be completed.

Two words that always bring a smile: Fresh. Bread.

Whether sweet or savory, the variety of breads, tarts, rolls, cakes, and drinks are sure to delight. Everything is rather inexpensive, and they occasionally have seasonal specials or combos. They usually have quite a varied selection of goodies and teas. Sometimes, it's hard to pick just one. My personal favorite is the milk bun. It is absolute bliss.

The location downtown is convenient for a quick snack or a place to study. There are plenty of tables, and they do have tea and coffee options. The staff is always friendly, and it always smells like something delicious is in the oven.

Overall, it's a nice chain addition in Berkeley. You can get better and even cheaper baked goods like these in Chinatown, but the close location and variety are what make this place great.

Fresh bread and tasty drinks. Sometimes long queue and short of staff so you just have to wait for 30 mins to get your drink. Recommended but plan a better time to visit!

I think I found a new great study spot near campus!  Amazing pastries and open space with good wifi.  Only downside: I think it took them 15 minutes to say my coffee (with digital name label) was ready.

The place is nice and large with plenty of seating when I was there (morning and late at night). The tea here is good and they have a wide variety of pastries and sweets to choose from. I liked how big and well kept the place was.
