I LOVE 9 Round! I have been a member for over a year and a half now. I started when I was falling out of my routine at the WAC, and gaining weight. I am now leaner and stronger than I have ever been. I love how I can fit this super effective workout into my hectic schedule. Hop in any time, as long as you are there 30 minutes before close. The trainers are very encouraging. The workouts are always changing, but always have a mix of cardio and strength, so you are always challenged and evolving.

They only got one star because the trainers were very nice. But, the owner and customer service is horrible!!!

This workout is not meant for someone who is just looking to get back into working out. It's meant for those already in decent shape who are looking to go hard for 30 straight minutes and tone and build on what they already have started. They don't really give you modified workouts to start (such as a beginner level like I was told by the owner). The female "trainer" who was working the day I tried it out seemed to ignore the fact that I told her it had been a couple years since I've been tot he gym. She kept pushing me to go harder and do more even though I was not keeping up and begging for modifications. There wasn't even a rest in between stations - it was a week that had active rests. There isn't AC in the VERY small and very warm room where everyone is working out on top of each other. There's also not a water fountain - but they sell bottles of water. I also hated the fact that I exchanged numerous emails with the owner who pretty much refused to tell me the cost of the membership options until after my first workout (which it's free to try it once). I opted to try the workout anyway because I was interested in a boxing type of workout. I honestly think this is probably an amazing workout for those that are ready for it. But it's brutal if you haven't been active in a while. The gym is pretty clean - I'll give it that. I was mostly unimpressed with the staff. Maybe you'll have better luck though?

Ryan and the Nine Round(Michelle, Eric, Vicky) team are great community partners. I had put off joining since 2013, I started in 2016 and it has been one of the best workouts that I have stuck with in my life. Still down 15 lbs from last year, even after the holidays.
