I have been benefiting from this A-1 Storage for a long time. I've used a couple of competitors in the past but have been genuinely happier with A-1. 

For one thing, the facility is kept very clean. They obviously put ample effort into maintaining the property. 

The security is impressive as well. A person needs more than simple access to the property to break into anyone else's unit. The layers of security are comforting. 

The staff has always been helpful. When there was an issue in my section of the property I was called promptly and informed of the problem. I was headed over to verify the situation was not originating in my unit but they called me back as they found the correct unit and resolved things with that customer. They handled everything quickly and professionally while still being friendly and forthcoming with the important details. 

The recent update of their website has been a helpful improvement and I've not encountered a single glitch.

I used A1 Storage for over a year and was very pleased with the kindness of the office team, as well as the cleanliness of the storage facility. Having the flatbed carts available is also a great benefit. When deciding to move out, I made sure to give one week notification, so I only paid for the few days past my start date not the whole month.

There is nothing wrong with the storage unit, everything was super easy to get in and out of. The only complaint I have is there is no AC (and it gets very hot in there) and there is no light or even an outlet for a light. Other than that, it seems to be safe and well managed.

I had a unit over 6 years with A1 Storage in El Cajon. The service is outstanding. I appreciate the impeccable customer service from everyone who has worked there..
