The A C Bilbrew library provides services for community members of all ages with programs and collections of books, audiobooks, movies, music and magazines in English and Spanish. The library has a Family Place collection especially for parents with young children and a Homework Center where school-age children can get homework assistance. There are also computers and wi-fi available to use with a County of Los Angeles library card.
The A C Bilbrew library houses the Black Resource Center which supports research and study on social, historical, musical, and cultural aspects unique to the "Black Experience" such as Juneteenth and Kwanzaa. The library is located in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles west of the City of Compton.
