Awesome park with some great history. Aside from providing lovely gazebos for parties, a public pool, and lots of play area, this park holds a nice piece of "Old Florida". A beautiful trail with tall pines, one of the last areas in Miami where so many pines are present. The park is also a Florida Birding Trail. I've come here many times but it wasn't until last week that I actually took the time to sit under some trees and look up at the birds. If you're quite and patient you will see some racoons, hawks, finches and more. Lovely park, I just hope they continue to preserve it.

I go here to catch peacock bass. Great spot to freshwater fish. Very big 🐟

The amenities here are good for birthday parties. I've been here multiple times since 1995. So book shelter here for parties it's worth it. Now as for just other park activities I feel the park may limit sport activities due to its lay out. This park acts more as a nature preserve over anything else. There are good walking trails all over and towards the back there is a canal where fishing is allowed. Bottom line is, if you want to play sports, you may find it more appealing if you were to go to tropical park two blocks West of this park. There is more field there than here. Otherwise this is a very relaxing park.

Great place, second biggest Park in South Florida. I take my dog there whenever I can, she loves it too

Nice, secluded park in the middle of the city. Very few people visit during the week. Good public pool.
