The place has some items you won't find at your typical pet store. They also have a lot of in house made bags of food. Prices are the same as any other pet store. It's a bit crowded inside. They also have animals for sale, but didn't really look at prices. They seemed to be well kept and cages/tanks were clean.

I have been going to ANG for years. The animals are extremely well cared for. Cages are cleaned every day, fresh water and food given every day. The owners actually care about the critters. Kathy brings in fresh vegetables for the animals, even the crickets get treats! All the pets have good bedding that is kept very clean. For some items the prices are a bit higher than some other big chains.  The quality of the animals is exquisite. The animal prices seem to be less than the big chain pet shops.  The parrots have large cages which is nice to see and good food, fresh veggies to eat. The birds are provided with lots of toys to play with!  Other big chains in the area have such small cages and no toys, that to me is sad in itself. I would buy a happy, well nourished bird or animal from ANG rather than from a big supply chain where the animals are not as happy and well cared for. The owners, John and Kathy, are animal lovers and they don't just see the critters as dollar signs as most other pet stores do! My favourite pet store by far! I can't say enough about their care for their animals and their customer's animals! Not many people in the world that care like they do! Thank you John and Kathy!
