The staff was great, they talked with us and left a very good impression. Our camp site was perfect. Trees all around us and close the the bathrooms. We had a great time. We did have a small issue with someone in a orange golf cart. They flew by us and hit us with the puddle of water she/ he didn't slow down for. Very rude but other than that we loved our site and plan on going back.

I camped here for a weekend with my husband and 2 kids (1 and 3 yrs old). We enjoyed ourselves and met other fun happy campers! The camp sites were good sized with foliage and trees so we felt like we were camping in the woods unlike some other places we have gone where you can practically touch the camper next to you. The site lacked grass...looks like most campsites were all dirt like ours. Our children were filthy!!! Bathrooms are fine, nothing fancy. My kids were really bummed that there was no petting zoo...not sure why they don't take it off their map. Staff was friendly. Seasonal campers were friendly too BUT there were a lot of them, they all have golf carts and no one seemed sober. Luckily we have a camper so we were able to turn on a fan to drown out the party noise for our kids to go to sleep. If you are looking for a nice quiet area this may not be the spot for you but if you enjoy tipping a few back with new friends then this may be the perfect spot.

Very quite and clean. We have to stay till September in already small quarters which is frustrating when kids are involved and the other campers or people that stay up here for the season have been great in offering to help keep my kids busy which has been great There are boats to rent, a nice beach to tan, clean restrooms and hot showers, parks for the kids to play on that are close to camping sites, a locked gate on weekends, and finally wooded sites with shade, and seclusion. I have been here about a month and I am so impressed I was thinking of keeping my site for years to come. Thanks to the hard work of there staff the campground looks great and is very family friendly and we recommend if you like to camp or need a place to call home for a month or two, this campground can accommodate you and your family. Thanks, Josh

This was not a good experience. I would not recommend this to anyone with young kids. The campsites are all dirt, no grass. There are kids playgrounds. There are numerous year round campers that overrun the place. The bathrooms were not cleaned all weekend and they're pretty gross. The picnic tables are rotted and falling apart. But the worst thing is the noise and drunkenness. The weekend we were there one of the permanent sites had a full stage and rock show with speakers, amps, mic stands, laser light show. They started about 8pm and went until past 1230am both Friday and Saturday nights, belting out songs and karaoke as everyone got more and more drunk. It was like you were trying to camp right next to a roadhouse that had an outdoor rock show going all night long. We tried calling all night long to the office but no one ever answered. The next day we called the office and the managers said they drove through and made rounds at 1030p and everything was quiet. This was not true. As the nights got later and later, there were more and more drunk regulars driving around and yelling in their golf carts so no one in our tent or camper got any sleep. This place was horrible.

This is a nice and quiet place to camp for the weekend. It is comprised of mostly seasonal sites, with a few sections for weekenders. The beach is decent, very nice dock/pier, and they have boats to rent too. The staff alone is a very good reason to stay here; beyond courteous and helpful.
