Very difficult to work with, didn't complete job, had to fix many stain and paint misses. If you're looking to get your house painted cheap, you get what you pay for..but you'll have to touch up a lot of work. Employees talked poorly about our color choices and the owner, while we were at home and could hear, just overall rude. Again, you get what you pay for.

I am the owner of A Stroke Of Color Christopher Knight. Google will not let us owners tell the truth of experiences with customers. I will ask people to go to the Better Business Bureau and Angies List. We have always had a  (A+ Rating) for 18 years!  These descriptions in posts with 1 star are far from the truth. Please call me let, meet me, and you be the judge. I'm all about the best price, best quality, and done by professional painters. I have had the same phone number for 18 years. Call me to see if I am hard to contact.  I would love to come give you a itemized printout of your bid usually within 15 minutes. Thank you for your time.  Chris

A co-worker recommended the company to me, & from start to finish, we were incredibly impressed with Christopher & the entire A Stroke of Color crew.  Christopher was able to quickly come to our home on a Saturday & gave us a bid that day.  Within a few days, our entry way, living room, kitchen, dining room, & laundry room were perfectly painted.  The crew came to our house while we were at work & completely cleaned up after themselves each day.  Everyone we interacted with was professional & courteous, & we will definitely be doing business with them again.  Thank you for helping make our new house feel more like a home!

Have been calling/emailing/texting since February to get some warranty work done.  First my phone calls and emails went unanswered.  Then my husband called and Christopher said that he was out of state and that he would be in touch when he returned.  That never happened so I text him and he told me to send pictures of the warranty work needing done.  I did that and he has told me he would be out "next week" several times…it is now May and 4 months have passed by without Christopher reaching out to get this done.  Obviously he does not honor his warranty.  I would not recommend anyone who does not honor their work and tells his customers that he will be out to do the work and never shows up nor calls.

It is hard to say enough good about Christopher and his company.  His prices were very reasonable but that was just the start.  I am very seldom happy with anyone’s work but this was different.  At every step Chris was conscientious and made certain everything was done right.  He is more careful about making things correct than I would ever be.  He ended up doing more than the bid and did it without additional charge.  They replaced all of my windows, fixed all of my wood rot and painted the exterior.  They even repainted my storm doors and replaced light fixtures.  The entire experience was what you would want.
