Odyssey Painting is a house painting company specializing in exterior painting and wood rot replacement in and around Olathe, Overland park, lenexa, shawnee, gardner, desoto, & Johnson county Kansas. We have been in the painting business for 10 years. I run only 1 crew which I paint on with 2 other painters. This allows me to inspect any painting that is being done to ensure the quality is up to my standards. We have a 5 year warranty with all our full exterior repaints and a lifetime warranty with all our wood rot replacement. We use only the highest quality Sherwin William's products. Sherwin William's Resilience is our paint of choice and comes with a manufacturer lifetime warranty. I stand behind all of my work and if the customer is not 100% satisfied I will do what it takes to make sure they are.

Odyssey painted our house and replaced the wood rot on my chimney in July.  We are really happy with the chimney repairs and Doug's crew did a real thorough job with the priming and caulking.  The entire house turned out great.  We are really happy with the quality of work and their attention to detail.  They showed up when promised and always left my property clean and picked up.  Doug and his crew are professional and courteous.  We had a lot of questions along the way and Doug always took the time to answer them.   Doug also responded to my email messages promptly.  I would use Odyssey Painting again and would certainly recommend them.

The response was quick and they were very nice, but they did not tell me over the phone or on the website that they do not paint homes built before 1978 due to lead paint (the majority of the surface I asked to be  painted is steel siding).  They should state this on their website, phone message machine, and/or when making the appointment to do the estimate.

Doug and Dawn have been our sole painters for the last 15 years. They have excellent crews, professional, always looking out for their customer, and most importantly, leave the premises very clean, as if they were not even here. We had some drastic need to remove some wood rot, and their carpenters actually improved the look of the house, over the original builders. Now that's exceeding a customer's expectations. Great communication between the home office and the outside team. I tell Dawn and I know Doug and crew will be informed. I can't say that for a number of companies in the area. Well done Odyssey! ! !

Incredible job. We got multiple quotes we found Odyssey to most reasonable and highly professional. Throughout the process they and their crew were highly professional and considerate to the household. The end result was amazing! They job completed was impeccable. We will refer Odyssey to anyone we can.

When my wife and I began the process of looking at wood rot and paint contractors, we received 6 bids.  While Odyssey was not the least expensive, they were also not the most expensive.  Doug spent over an hour looking over the house, and gave us a very detailed bid, that included every a drawing  of each piece of siding and trim that would need to be addressed.  We immediately  felt like we were in a safe and honest pair hands.  Weather aside, Doug's crew was great; their communication was awesome, they moved quickly and communicated with us about additional work that needed to be done to complete the job correctly.  On one side of my home, the wood rot was so bad that I could not believe that the  windows did not fall off the house; Doug re-built to the framing and charged short dollars for the additional work.  We are so happy with what appears to be a new home.  To Doug and team, THANK YOU!!!
