Myself and my entire family have eaten at A Taste of China for 10 years plus!! In my opinion, there’s not another Chinese restaurant that compares to this restaurant. Even when we’ve lived over 20 minuets away, we’ve driven here just for their amazing food! They’re very friendly and always have your order right, very hot and very quickly! I’ve recommended A Taste of China to any and all of my friends who are looking for some amazing chinese food.

One of the best Chinese takeout/dine-in restaurants in St. Louis. Been coming here for nearly 8 years and they always taste great and the owners are super friendly. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

I can't even call this mediocre Chinese. In fairness, the fried rice wasn't bad, not great, but it was fresh and fluffy. The rest was anywhere from bad to downright awful. I ordered Kung Pao chicken combo, the wife got General Tso's. Chicken was dry but at least it wasn't overcooked or rubbery, but everything was just bland and didn't have a good flavor. The Crab Rangoon was the absolute worst I've ever had. I actually spit it out, it was disgusting. They were fresh, but obviously cooked in very old oil. Filler was cream cheese, nothing else. The egg roll might have been good, but again it was fried in old nasty oil and was enedible. Very disappointed, especially considering the 4.3 rating. I'm giving it a 2, and I feel that's generous. I normally will give a place a second chance or not go through the trouble of giving a bad review, but I feel this place is WAY overrated. You have been warned...
