At A.W. Shucks Raw Bar & Grill, we’re proud to serve up delicious seafood, drinks, and more to the Ghent neighborhood in Norfolk. Good food comes from good ingredients, and that’s why we use local and regional seafood for our entrees, along with fresh oysters for our delectable raw bar. In fact, everything on our menu is made by hand, from our burgers to our hand-cut fries to our brunch menu. We also carry a great selection of craft beers, wine, and a full bar if relaxing with a drink is more your speed. As a family owned business, we love being a favorite hangout in our community, and we can’t wait to show you a good time.

I visited A. W. Shucks to try something different rather than going to Captain George's. I ordered a dozen of raw oysters...I forgot the name but they were FRESH and DELICIOUS!!!!! I also ordered the seafood combo. The crab leg cluster was large and fresh. The shrimp was average in taste but large in size. I was a little disappointed in the steamed oysters, clams and mussels...they were all steamed to dry/hard but I will give them another try. Our waitress was nice and friendly and allowed me to sample a beer before I ordered it. I will return again just for the raw oysters!!! Oh, and they have all you can eat crab legs on Monday's...I will try to make it to that as well.

One of my favorite seafood restaurants. Excellent selection of seafood prepared to perfection great beer and wine selection. Casual atmosphere ads to dining experience. Wait staff very professional yet very friendly. Raw bar is great! Love this restaurant!

Great food, huge beer selection, fun atmosphere.we do not get the seafood selection like this back home. Oysters, Scallops, Flounder with Crab and Shrimp were amazing. Would recommend any of my friends driving through to stop.

This place was a GREAT FIND. my superintendent told me to find somewhere I wanted to eat. I did a quick google search and this location popped up. I am so glad that we came here. the food was amazing the drinks were great! I have no complaints. I ate shrimp, crabs, spinach, mac and cheese, hush puppies, a salad and a few other sides I cn not remember at the time. but I do remember that everything that was brought to the table got eaten!
