We have been customers for 50+ years and Abby's has been our entire family's (4 different households)#1 pizza parlor, however I've noticed the quality slipped considerably in our recent visits, especially when we are there when they've had a particular large order before or right after us.  When I'm asked where I want to go for my birthday dinner, I actually choose Abby's over a fancy dinner, since it's my favorite.  Two weeks ago today, was our most disappointing pizza of all.  I'm not sure why the pizza wasn't baked as crisp, why the mushrooms were 1/4 inch thick and not cooked through, why toppings weren't as loaded as typically they are or why the sauce was spread on way too much.  The cheese was a cheap version of what is normally used, I'm sure!  To confirm my suspicions, I reheated the leftover pizza (which we always love to do) the cheese looked like it was a clear substance that had a slight milky appearance and had no taste!  There have definitely been some shortcuts taken to cheapen the cost of making their over priced pizzas!  You can't fool the loyal customer who has been going there during their lifetime!  I'm hoping the owners take note and keep the original integrity of their products we've always loved, I don't want to stop being a customer!  I will gladly pay for Abby's expensive pizzas, as long as the product is consistent with what it was in the past decades.

The actual pizza was fine, my experience was not the best. I called in my order for pickup, I was told they were running 30 minutes out. That was fine I could pick it up in 45, at 520. Fine. Got there at 520, pizza was ready. Was told it would be 4 minutes on my wings. Fine. 15 minutes later I ask about my order. Get the run around, some confusion, "oh we spilled part of your wings, we need to cook some more." Ok. I watch a half order of wing pop out of the oven. They get set aside, 5 minutes later after they have looked at my pizza 3 times, there is some discussion and one guy points at my wings just sitting there. Finally someone figures it out and they toss 4 wings into a box with some other wings. 25 minutes after 520 I get my order and leave. Get home and it is all half cold. Not impressed. Terrible service, no apology for the wait, no true story in the beginning, no update while I stood and watched it all happen.

Great place to group or just go as two. Take out is mixed depending on how busy the place is. Twice I have had my order for take out get lost in the kitchen and had close to an hour wait, but other than that, the place is great.

Great crust. Good pizza with plenty of meat and mushrooms.  Family place can be noisy. Fast service
